Nuno is the ideal Manager for us (Portugese helps !) - his record at Wolves was superb, promotion in Season 1, and then TWO 7th place finishes, playing in Europe and a FA Cup semi-final. I can't think of anyone better for us right now. Important to get off to a good start - unlike the past 2 seasons, our opening 7 games (Liverpool away, apart) look win-able. Hopefully Leicester will start on minus 6 points !!!

I think Nuno's job went undervalued because of the number of points. Underlying stats and especially our defensive stats were fantastic for a club at our stage in the league and if the underlying stats start to reflect in results and things return to the mean as they usually do, we could be comfortably mid-table and the new Palace of the league where nobody thinks about us getting relegated next year.

OK here’s my thoughts: 1. That was exactly the kind of performance I wanted expected. I know it was only Chesterfield, but still the application and performance was absolutely vital. 2. It makes a change to have a preseason friendly where we’re not messing around and losing to lower teams and failing to score, I was really pleased with the team’s effort and vision and finishing - Well done, Nuno 3. I hope we never see Dennis in a Forest shirt again - we really need to get rid of him 4. Sangare was brilliant in the second half he and MGW completely controlled the midfield and it was just the kind of performance. I was hoping and wanting to see from Sangare 5. I’m not get carried away, as it was only Chesterfield, but the signs are looking really positive. Really pleased to see a clean sheet good application strong performance three goals and a win. Well done Forest 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴

Listen I'm a Chesterfield lad and fan went all over England with town when forest played away. So I went all over the place, even witnessed a robbery by David Ellery at Old Trafford in the FA Cup in 97. Was at Saltergate a good few years. I'm a blue matey it was a great run out for us and I've had a tenner on town going up so we're not all dirty Mxxxfield reds there's a fair few Spireite reds out there too.
