I'm a Christian so I try to pay it forward as much as possible. I loved the movie, I wish everyone felt that way!! Even in a drive through at coffee or fast food, I ask what the people behind me order total is and pay theirs. I tell the drive through person to tell them to have a blessed day and to pay it forward when they can!! Always give in secret and be humble. God loves a cheerful giver and one who doesn't brag about it!! But for the grace of God, there go I!!

My neighbors daughter lives next door and her father had been diagnosed with cancer. She was only 20 years old and really was struggling, so myself and my son began mowing her yard. She tried to pay us for the gas and I accepted the money the first time, but I told her we would just do it for free from now on. So we keep her yard mowed every week. Sad to say her father passed away a few months ago and she moved back home, but we continue mowing her yard, Great video as always!

I was working in Upstate NY during covid and grocery shopping one day, the young lady behind me had 3 little ones and a cart full of food, so I offered to pay for it all. She didn't believe me until I told the cashier to add my stuff to it. She started crying and I said, please don't, we all need to help each other from time to time. She was thankful as I sent her on her way. I did this because I had lost my wallet with close to $1000 cash in it and it was returned to me with every dollar in it. I tried to give the young guy half of the cash, but he wouldn't take it, he simply said please pay it forward. You a good dude.

But then she didn't have enough money to pay for her own cheese. I didn't want to embarass her in front of the cashier and the other people in line. So I waited for her outside the store and gave her a 5 euro bill. It's no skin off my back, but I could tell to her that small amount meant a lot. People on a fixed income have it hard with this inflation and I hope the next time at the supermarket she was able to buy herself something extra, not just looking after her pets. Wow! What a judgmental lot of people! Ed- no argument there. Al clearly is a better man. Mr NHL - That yard was too out of control for a child. He looked about 8-9. Be Positive - if this is you being positive, I'd hate to see your idea of negativity. Not a lot of dads take their kids to their doctors' appointments, so yep, good example. Debbie - He may be lazy. And a LOT of people benefited from his unmown yard - Al, you, me, everyone who watches and the lady at Publix. Who, BTW, benefited from the man's $50... AND an unmown lawn does not necessarily indicate laziness. He just said he worked a 12 or 15 hour day (can't remember and not going back) so I'm not sure I would describe him as lazy. Casucasu - He didn't know who Al was. He was also being kind. He knows his yard is a mess and that he probably won't get it mowed. He likely thought Al was a guy who went looking for yards to mow to support his family (and he was actually correct...) and he thought he had found a good yard guy who needed the work and the money. I would be so appreciative if there was someone like you where I live. My landlord recently gave me 1 week to clean up our backyard. My husband has had a ton of health issues so he can't help. I have a few issues myself but I push through if I have to. Our backyard had a HUGE blackberry bush that was little but then took off like crazy and got out of hand. I had rented a Uhaul truck to fill with crap that we had in the backyard and had worked on it for a good part of the day. The "grass" was probably 3+ feet and then the blackberry bush. I was so stressed out and then I saw a neighbor who I don't know well but I do know that they do house cleanouts and yards. So I asked them how much they would charge for the bush and I would try to get the lawn done. They were heading to breakfast and said they would let me know when they got back. Well they got back about the same time I had to take off to get to the dump before they closed. They just brought over all of their equipment and started working on it. I was in tears because my husband and I always help everyone and when we need help nobody is around...and for these neighbors to come over and help was such an amazing thing. I still thank them whenever I see them. When I got back from he dump they had the entire backyard mowed and the blackberry bush gone. I just cried. They didn't charge me anything. I still get choked up about it. So from the bottom of my heart thank you for all that you do.

Another great job Al, and thank you for helping that nice lady in the market. You know, when my husband was in the hospital for a long time, I would take his car out and drive it to keep the battery alive. I stop at Starbucks from time to time since I'm a coffee-aholic...lol, and every time I went through the drive thru, somebody in front of me paid for my coffee. At first I wasn't surprised because I've paid forward myself, but after 3 or 4 trips , and every time somebody was paying my coffee, I couldn't figure out why. I mentioned it to my girlfriend and she said, probably because they saw your husbands ''Disabled Veteran" license plates. You know, that was probably it, so I stopped driving his car to Starbucks and used mine, but I made sure I paid forward the four times people paid for my coffee. I never thought about that, but it was such a wonderful gesture. After he passed away I took off those license plates and put regular plates on. We only got them for parking purposes, and I didn't feel right keeping them on the car after he passed away. It was so nice of people to recognize his sacrifices, I will never forget that. A lot of people don't recognize the fact that a small act of kindness means a lot to someone.

Thank you for all the cleanups that you do. All are fantastic! As a retired woman with some disabilities, I still do my own yard, no matter how long it may take. Just wanted to say that I was so excited to see your new vid come up, that I had to stop and make my dinner, so I could watch while eating. Love ya Al. Be safe!

I'm 74 and still keep a tidy house and do my own yard work, on the upside in Arizona very few homes have a huge expanse of grass because water is expensive, I wanted at bit of grass for the cottontail rabbits that live in my neighborhood. I still swing a mean hedge trimmer for an old lady.

We've had a hard time. My husband isn't well and I work full time and dealt with health issues of my own over the last few years. Your kindness, generosity, exceptional hard work and humbleness have both humbled and inspired us. Our yard has been excessively out of control, weeds could be (embarrassingly) seen above our 6 foot fence. We have started working on gaining control. Thank you. ❤❤ Queensland Australia

its a tax write off.....ya gotta at least learn how this whole thing works! Mowing lawns for free didnt become a KZbin fad because people just have tons of time on their hands to do free good deeds!
@verlindaallen3335 Жыл бұрын
@2stroketyson79 goodness sakes please don't ruin goodness. Yes one can use a gift as 🎉 a tax write off but he has a family and a home and business. All tax write offs. AL does these because he's a great person as well bringing light to people's lives. See, it used to be in generations past neighbors would help neighbors who were down for whatever the reason...you guessed it. Out of the goodness of their hearts 💕 it was Automatically what anyone did. AL has probably been taught this by his relatives older than him. You should try one day to go out and help a neighbor : say wash the car of an elderly person in your neighborhood, rake, just ask around and you'll see if you do it then your heart feels good afterwards 🎉🎉🎉God wants us to love our neighbors. Blessings to you 😊❤

#payitforward 🎉🎉🎉 oh. AL I constantly bless the young, young mama's & elderly and people with missing limbs because they need diabetic medicine at the California/ Mexico border going through from my place in Mexico across to my doctor appointments in CA. I have to stay over here because a studio or room rental in CA is about 1,200 -1,800 dollars. We seniors cannot afford that. So I try to bless people everywhere I go. My heart is to big for my chest . I believe it's always been my calling . Just like you blessing those God sends you to. #bethehandsandfeetofjesus
