My heart and prayers go out to everyone during this tornado outbreak. I remember when the state of Alabama was in the same boat as you are back in April 27,2011. It was horrible.... 62 tornadoes touch ground and 252 people lost their lives within 24hours... So I'm so sorry for your loss.... I know what you are going through... Because I was one of those people... I'm lucky to be alive...😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

The clean up was amazing in just two days... long ways to go tho... Thank you for all your prayers....

Mobile home insurance is way different than a stick frame home. It's on a chassis with axles and they depreciate like a car. It's sad. Many older 80s vintage mobiles are almost worthless in the insurance industry. But it's not "just a vehicle" that got old. That was someones life and memories. New mobiles are built a bit stronger with "better" building materials and are very expensive compared to what many had. Prayers go out to those people. There's nothing left when an older mobile gets torn to a heap. 🙏🙏😢

Correct - the "news" presents the most dramatic viewpoint regardless of fact. Outright lies like "first touched down at Nottingham..." are simply ignored. Saw some local "official" say it was on the ground for 2 miles - no, it was on the ground for 16 miles, most of it SW and NE of Gaylord.

Well how long have you lived in Gaylord, Michigan? That you KNOW and have a right to correct their pronunciation of their town?!?!?!
@idoc-22 жыл бұрын
@ Michael M The CORRECT way to pronounce any geographical name is the way the LOCAL people pronounce it, which leads to town names with the same spelling being pronounced differently across the U.S. In Michigan, it is pronounced "Gay-lerd." In other places, it may be pronounced "Gay-lord," but both are correct depending on where you are. Telling people who live there that they are pronouncing the name of their own town incorrectly is ignorant.

GAYLORD Perceived to be the 'original' or 'first' homosexual male, if such a being ever existed. The occasional myth that emerges from closed circles entails that the one Gay Lord ruled over homosexuals in early Mesopotamian times as a deity of sorts and if he still lived today, would be able to control every living gay man with a single thought. Some say that the homosexual 'essence' of the Gay Lord was / is the purest of all gays. To this day, it is unknown as to how the Gay Lord actually looked like, although there is much speculation on whether the Gay Lord still lives; locked away in deep slumber. It has also been said that the Gay Lord has no apparent connection with bisexuals.

The time of the judgement of the Christians for what they did to the Jews and other Peoples has come. Be honest now. How many times have your dared to presume to speak about the holy spirit, about which you gentiles know NOTHING? It is the wrath of the holy spirit that tore your world of lies apart. Your judgement is in accordance with the Holy Writings that God gave to the Jews, not your pulp fiction. About you it is written: Whereas Edom saith: 'We are beaten down, but we will return and build the waste places'; thus saith the LORD of hosts: They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall be called the border of wickedness, and the people whom the LORD execrateth for ever. - Malachi 1 -and- 1 Come near, ye nations, to hear, and attend, ye peoples; let the earth hear, and the fullness thereof, the world, and all things that come forth of it. 2 For the LORD hath indignation against all the nations, and fury against all their host; He hath utterly destroyed them, He hath delivered them to the slaughter. 3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and the stench of their carcasses shall come up, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. 4 And all the host of heaven shall moulder away, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig-tree. 5 For My sword hath drunk its fill in heaven; behold, it shall come down upon Edom, and upon the people of My ban, to judgment. 6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. 7 And the wild-oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. 8 For the LORD hath a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the controversy of Zion. 9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. 10 It shall not be quenched night nor day, the smoke thereof shall go up for ever; from generation to generation it shall lie waste: none shall pass through it for ever and ever. 11 But the pelican and the bittern shall possess it, and the owl and the raven shall dwell therein; and He shall stretch over it the line of confusion, and the plummet of emptiness. 12 As for her nobles, none shall be there to be called to the kingdom; and all her princes shall be nothing. 13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and thistles in the fortresses thereof; and it shall be a habitation of wild-dogs, an enclosure for ostriches. 14 And the wild-cats shall meet with the jackals, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; yea, the night-monster shall repose there, and shall find her a place of rest. 15 There shall the arrowsnake make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and brood under her shadow; yea, there shall the kites be gathered, every one with her mate. 16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read; no one of these shall be missing, none shall want her mate; for My mouth it hath commanded, and the breath thereof it hath gathered them. 17 And He hath cast the lot for them, and His hand hath divided it unto them by line; they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein. {S} - Isaiah Chapter 34

Gaylord is a surname that goes back 1000 years and "gay" meant happy or merry in the 19th century when the town was named. Since you didn't know well enough to check that first, you're really not fit to judge
