Utter nonsense!!!.. go back and watch the otto fight. Hands are low, jab is thrown from the chest and every time the right hand is thrown his left hand is at his hip and zero head movement. Thats the way he fights and why he hasn't been in the ring with a live opponent who can punch since klitschko.

AJ will never go down as a hall of famer. Take away Eddie Hearns marketing and hype he is an average Heavyweight. He was never the same fighter after Ruiz dropped him.
@blackbelt2003
@blackbelt2003 Сағат бұрын
An average heavyweight is a guy from the US Mid West with a 14-11-2 record who once beat someone who had previously fought for the NABF title. Anthony Joshua is not an average heavyweight by any stretch of the imagination. No average heavyweight has ever been world champion.

He improved after Ruiz fight. Added more to his technical game. He looked best in rematch with usyk. Had a good streak of wind against low level guys then came up against dubois . A live opponent with serious offense ability. He didn't get worse he just fought a tough fighter. AJs biggest flaw is his inability to adapt in fights . He sticks to a gameplan very well but if it goes wrong he doesn't change what he's doing aside from dog fight tactics. It's something he was never able to improve on.

AJ choked on the big occasion same way as he did in New York against Ruiz. He wasn't below par GAD. That's who he is. DD spanked him and never let him in the fight. Brilliant performance from him. DD beat him up easily. AJ has a habit of acting tough, yet every time Eddie puts him in the position of greatness he can't handle it. Brave, good fighter, big fighting heart but hasn't had the killer instinct since Ruiz. Respect to both of them. It's DD's time now to get the big shots. Let him fight the winner of Usyk v Fury. Good luck to him.

AJ just doesn’t have any type of powers of recovery. Once he’s hurt, he’s done. I still believe Klitschko let him off the hook… He knew he could have finished him, but he knew by doing that, he would have destroyed his career. So he took his foot off the Gas because he really likes AJ and knew one of them was at the start of their career and the other was at the end. Massive respect to DD. He was on a seek and destroy mission Saturday night 💥 🥊. He’s come back on an absolute tear up since the Usyk loss!

Anthony Joshua was shocking. I've been in and out of boxing gyms a fair bit over the years. Never fought competitively as admittedly i wasnt at that level. Even just doing padwork at that level in local gyms if you threw punches with your chin up in the air and your hands down like AJ was fighting whoever was holding the pads would slap you round the lug with the pad or dig you with the hard side of the pad to make sure you didnt do it again. After 3 or four times you just stop doing it. Baffling that at this stage in AJ's career he still doesnt do the basics right

Gareth is clueless. This AJ would still beat Klitschko. Any AJ now or 8yrs ago can never beat a fast aggressive combination fighter like a hungry Ruiz.
