Indiana Fever fans keep crying about how other teams are defending CC the full length of the basketball court as if that is a knock against the other team. By defending CC this way, she expends a lot of energy during the first half of all of her games. When Caitlin got her triple double (19/12/13) she was only 2-8 from the floor in the 2nd half of the game, without scoring a 3 pointer. She went strong to the bucket only once in the 2nd half because she was gassed. I can’t understand why they don’t play CC the same way the Chicago Sky plays Chennedy Carter, give her the ball with 10-12 seconds left on the shot clock and let her cook. They won’t do that because she entertains the crowd with her “Logo Threes” as she brings the ball up the court. They need to stop the showtime and do what’s best to win games.

A triple double is a difficult feat to begin with, but it gets harder as the competition level goes up. Pony or peewee league is one thing, high school or junior college another, to do it in NCAA division 1, even harder. To do it at the pro level, not the easiest thing to do. That's obvious by the fact nobody else has done it in the WNBA and the WNBA played its first game in 1997. That's 27 years... That's very, VERY impressive. Good for you Caitlin. You make women's basketball 'must-see-tv' when you play. Keep doing what you're doing.
