Andy Cole and Dwight York, my favorite duo in attack in Football. Juventus- Man U was a recital of them. And at this time, the team was so brillant if though Eric wasn't there his spirit was still part of the team

As a Leeds fan still scratch my head what were we doing giving Cantona to Man United for 1.2 million. 25 years without the league then Cantona was the final piece in the jigsaw for Manchester United dominance in the 90s. great great player i remember the goal he scored against Chelsea for us in 91/92 title year and the Charity Shield against Liverpool the hat trick

I heard this story from another player but can't remember who. He said in the dressing room, Fergie was tearing the players apart one by one for dropping 2 points. Finally he came to Eric and just said 'you can't go around doing that lad'. The players were shocked that Eric didn't get a single lashing. Thats why he is King.

Cantona story: Ince & Giggs found out that Eric was coming to training really early every day to just practice, practice, practice his skills. They turned up early themselves, watched him, and just started doing the same.
