@LAHover2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rob The mag flip is not likely your issue. Some new motors, or a motor you recently worked on might have the magnet installed backwards. In your situation I would focus first on giving the carburetor a good clean. It may be giving too little fuel due to a dirty jet, or too much fuel due to a dirty fuel valve. Many other issues can be at play such as dry-rotted crank seals and gasket, weak spark, shrunken fuel line, etc... Starting fluid is a reliable way to narrow down possible issues quickly.

Yeah silencer will be going on my first chamber too,, neighbors already seem pissed about me with a stock pipe. But you can try the holes in the stinger cap, but I found success pulling off the stinger and cutting the outlet tube about in half! Its narrow and long as stock, which is restrictive. I took off about 1/2" at a time, and went back and trimmed multiple times. It is a stock pipe which is a muffler and not a chamber, so it may just do nothing at all on a chamber, but definitely wont hurt anything. But trimming that outlet/stinger did allow more exhaust to clear and increased my RPMs.

Thank you so much for this video. After your previous video highlighting that bike, I've seriously been considering using the this bike for the base for a new build. I was really concerned about the placement of the disc brakes, so your description there is awesome! Did you say that a smaller sprocket won't work? It looks like you picked that one to clear the brakes. I'm a big guy so I'm not worried about top speed and I prefer quick vs. fast. Seriously, thank you! You have helped me so much in this new hobby and love your content. I only wish there were more trails to ride here like you have.
@LAHover3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I picked the big sprocket for more low end power. Not much top speed because it's a trail bike... However it looks like you can use any size sprocket on this build. You might have issues if you go smaller the 32t, but if you are not after speed you won't be going that small anyways.
