This turned out awesome. It's beautiful & your idea is very cool. That said, Please wear a respirator when working with resins even the UV quickly drying resins. Quick drying resins put out fumes very quickly. People are getting permanent lung damage and asthma working with all resins. As a content creator you want people to do the things you show in the safest way possible! Your lungs matter too. Please set a good example for everyone. I mean this in the kindest way possible. 😊💕

OMG… What a brilliant idea that was Michelle!! I’m off to my craft room to make myself some silicone inlays… especially for the lights! I believe this really is a game changer… well it certainly is for me!! Thank you so very much for sharing your ideas with us! 🤗 Can’t wait to see how the next one works, with the dome light! Much love from Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺

i dabble in resin crafts too , I don't make videos though . I make jewelry pendants . I don't sell them , its just something to do when I'm bored. suggestion for unmolding , canned air, the kind they sell in the electronic section . Helps loosen the silicon from the resin .

I have an idea for you about the dragon eye that got covered in mica ( 5:20 ). You should be able to scratch off (with an x-acto blade or something similar) the resin that’s on top of the obscured glass eye. Because it’s glass, it should be safe. Once you’ve scratched off the mica/resin that’s covering the eye (so you can see it again), you can dome it with clear UV resin.
@kristineshipman89814 ай бұрын
Next time, try wrapping the LED lights around a thin pencil or pen, so it forms one long tight coil. Should be easier to lay it in without the wires being bulked up and creating a "hot spot" in the center where a bunch of lights land together with the folding technique. I'd like to see if that helps you at all.
