Hey bud, it's Sam, I met you about 2 weeks ago at your secret jetty. First off, it was nice to meet you! I'm currently trying to tug on FWC, alot of shark fisherman now think that they're legally required to use circle hooks. I've been bringing bolt cutters with me to cut the circle hooks in half so they can be removed. The shark endorsement class has anglers thinking that they need to use circle hooks and it's been problematic for catch and release. Congratulations on the pompano, they're killer!

Hey Steve, get your a big surf fishing rod and reel from Walmart and setup a pompano rig or buy some already made rigs from Walmart or bass pro, get some 2-4ounce pyramid weights and then buy some shrimp and yer good to go from any pier or beach. I bought an 8000 series daiwa reel to put on my ugly stick elite tiger shark rod. I put 100lb braid on it and will use it for shark fishin.
