4:03 Itachi performed the hand signs in an instant before Kakashi could even see them (with a freaking sharingan), then he has shown the shuriken to Kakashi as a decoy and attacked him with a water jutsu, Kakashi defended himself with a water wall. When Kakashi used the water wall to defend himself he covered himself completely so he couldn't see around him, Itachi performed a shadow clone jutsu and left it at his place to get behind Kakashi once the water wall came down. Kakashi, while he was covered by hs own water wall, went underwater and left a water clone in his place. Kakashi underwater went to Kurenai to cover her because he noticed that the Itachi before her was the shadow clone and, at that point, Itachi made it explode.

In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique and Authentic characters from the series.The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making Itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just any ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto in all of his encounters). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi.The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi, is that during an encounter against him, he always have a counter because of his unpredictable way of fighting factor, he doesn't run out of options or techniques, he almost always have a counter in his arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against someone like him from what it seems, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷‍♂️

The best way to explained Itachi’s genjutsu, tsukyomi, is that it doesn’t matter if the wound real or not. As long as your brain believes you’re injure, you will be in all the pain in the world. That’s why the human brain is our best friend and our worst enemy. For example: when I get my tooth taken out, even thought the dentist give me anesthetic,; my brain keep telling me, that something bad is happening to me, I needs to fight back. As an result, I needs to grip the armrest to stop myself from flinging my arm around; by the time everything is done, I have sweat a bucket. Another example is when some you got a cut some where, but you didn’t notice; you don’t feel anything

Fun fact; in the manga Itachi actually talks about if he were to 1v1 Jiraiya, they'd both end up ATLEAST heavily injured and if Kisame were to join Itachi (2v1'in Jiraiya) it wouldn't change the outcome meaning Jiraiya would fuck them up as hard as they would fuck him up.

Which we would find out later was a lie. Itachi and Nagato are very similar in strength, not abilities, and Jiraiya was having a hard time fighting 2 of the weaker paths who weren't combat designed of Pain and the Animal path. He then gets blitzed by the Asura path in a hallway(which shows his sensory in Sage mode sucks since Naruto knew Sage Mode for a week and could tell Kakashi had died across the village), and with 1 punch rips Jiraiya's arm off. A path that specializes in long-range combat was strong enough to 1 shot his arm off. Itachi destroys Jiraiya. This isn't even bringing up Susanoo, Amatarasu or the fact Itachi was able to react to Kirin, a lightning style jutsu that moves at lightning speeds and was able to bring up his Susanoo in time to survive the huge blast. Also the Yata Mirror and Totsuka Blade but you get the picture.
