Magnificent build and paintwork, Martin. Cool and colorful decals. Live the spiffed up interior. Bill

Thanks Bill, greatly appreciated mate! I'm having fun spiffing up the cockpits of these 1/72 scale kits! Have a great week! Cheers : )

Between the scratch building in the pit, all the brush painting and weathering you built a cool jet Martin. Nice job!
@InternationalBritishModeler7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bob, much appreciated mate! I'd like to build a 1/48 or 1/32 scale Tamiya version and airbrush it to see how it would look with all the extra details and finer paint work. Cheers : )

Hi Martin, Two words can describe this build, Excellent Job. I have seen the F-16 several times at airshows in Melbourne, and is one of my favourite aircraft after the F-4. happy building. Les
@InternationalBritishModeler7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Les, greatly appreciated mate! Where I lived prior to where I moved to last year, we had a USAF base that was loaded with the "Green Mountain Boys" F-16's from the Vermont 134th Fighter Squadron....saw them regularly flying around, plus static at the local airshows. Awesome aircraft...small, agile, fast and deadly! It's kind of like the modern day P-51D! Cheers : )

Thanks Karl, greatly appreciated. It's not bad for a "Hairy Stick" job....temporary until I get my man-cave set up and my airbrush up and running again. Cheers : )

Awesome build of an awesome aircraft!! Looks great Martin!
Great video, Martin! I love the pilot POV shots in the intro, and the build looks incredible, as always - that's a lot of detail for a 1/72 scale model! I'm watching your videos in reverse chronological order. I can't wait to see her come together in the earlier ones! - Trevor

Hey Trevor, thanks for watching and your kind compliment, much appreciated mate....glad you like how she turned out. Not my preferred scale, much prefer the large scale builds to make it easier on my aging eyes! Hope you like the build videos leading up to this reveal video. Cheers : )

Great video Martin! I spent a better part of two years, 78, 79 walking around 100 of these, just me and my dog. Where the 388th Tactical Wing from Hill AFB in Utah went, I followed! I guess its why its my favorite fighter, still a great jet in my book!
@InternationalBritishModeler5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bill, much appreciated...it is a beautiful jet, I got up close and personal with a few at the "Pease International Air Show" in Portsmouth, New Hampshire...made a video of the event, it's among my uploaded videos on here. Cheers : )

beautiful model Yours ( not the original ) very informative video . I knew it was popular but surprised the extent of it's use . If I was choosing I would prefer the security of two engines a Typhoon or F18
@InternationalBritishModeler7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Anthony, greatly appreciated! I'm with you regarding the engines....it's the reason I prefer to fly long distance on airlines that have 4 engines, such as the 747-400A! Cheers : )

Oh, and one more comment, I took the physical for a free ride in 79 and got it, lol, greatest rush in my life, and I only got sick twice, lol!...Bill

WOW!! Envious!! Man, if I was a younger man, I'd jump at the chance to fly in one...with my bad back, I think the G's would cause me a lot of pain. Do you have any photos or video footage from the event? Cheers : )

Thanks mate, much appreciated. My next model...well, I am hosting a Messerschmitt me410 Buddy Build" that start on March 1st and end on June 30th...so, a 1/48 scale Me 410 is my next build. Feel free to join in, the more the merrier! We have 16 builders so far and if you have a Facebook page...I can send you an invitation to the Me410 buddy build Facebook page wherein you can chat with all the other builders, post progress photos/videos and then your "Final Reveal" photo and/or video. I'll be posting update videos of everyone's work on here, and at the end of the build, I'll be posting a "Final Reveal" video of all the builds that were done during the 4 month period. Cheers : )

I tried the option to send an invite via email....but when I tried to do it, it's looking for emails of friends in my Facebook list. I think we have to be friends on Facebook...it's because the page is a private closed group, I believe?
