Looks fabulous. I think the gloss black wheels suit it much better. Yes, you've spent £33675 but 1) you have the car of your dreams and 2) you would have to spend more than that to get one that's probably not as well sorted as your one.

Cracking job this far. Keep at it! How do you find the fittings/clips etc compared to an Alfa of that era?

Most of it is held together by clips

@@ItaliaAutos Interesting. I went from three Alfas (159x 2 and a GT Q2) to a 2008 E92 325i. Found the Beemer to be so much more forgiving to work on. All the clips/brackets/screws etc just went back on. Never had that luxury on the Alfas.

Lots of clips where missing on the porsche. Things like this you only realise when rebuildingand when 2 other parties tried to repair it.

Car looks great already Neil, even if you go a bit over budget you should still be well on the right side of things value wise compared to if you’d have bought one in finished condition

I follow your channel, and I usually like your service, the repairs and rebuilds I see here. However, you fail on the details. From a distance, everything seems perfect, but if we look closely, there is a discrepancy in color/tone between the body pieces with original paint and the ones now painted. I know that it was not you who painted the parts/car. Naturally, things were not done as they should be done, they painted the parts outside the car, when they should have painted the parts, then put them on the car and finished painting with different approximate shades so that there was a "mix/blent" and the transition was not easily noticed. (I don't know the correct term/words in English because I'm Portuguese) Also since I´m writing, I have to say that I don't like the welding repair service that you sometimes do on the underside of the cars. You cut, weld a piece of sheet metal and paint it. You leave the work completely different from the original, it is very ugly to say the least... looks a botch. As a customer, I would never accept a metal job done that way. it's completely amateurish to say the least. If you're a mechanic then only do your job because that's in what you're good at... sheet metal and painting are professions that maybe it's good to leave it to others to do.
