You really know how to give tour . So many of these bikes are unknown over the pond . I did see a Ducati back in May yet it wasn't from here . I've not heard of most of these bikes ??? Beautiful

Wow really ? Where are you in world ?

Pretty nice event! I have always wanted to hear a Moto Morini 3 1/2.
@bikerdood1100Ай бұрын
Quite Beefy for a small motor I thought
@tomtaylor6163Ай бұрын
I had a 3-1/2 at one point very cool but way underpowered. I once test rode a Morini 500 in the early 80s in Colorado. The 500 was brand new at a small shop and was really cool

Awesome collection of bikes indeed. Your channel introduced me to Italian bikes. I really like them. Would love to buy a Moto Guzzi. Love the way they sound. Take care . Cheers

Lovely event, thanks for the video. Unfortunately it’s a bit far from Bremerhaven, so it’s improbable for me to attend it in person. A friend of mine owned a 150 Gilera 4 stroke single, back in the 70s. Never seen this model again. Do you know anything about it? It might have been the Acore 150 but I’m not sure.
@bikerdood1100Ай бұрын
Possibly a 150 sport

As a Guzzi owner I'd love to be there at next year's show; bit far to come from West Oz, though... 😊
@bikerdood1100Ай бұрын
Indeed it is 😂

Some classy bikes on show. My first bike was a Gilera TS50. Mine was a motorcycle as opposed to a moped. I was never brave enough or mechanically competent to buy a used Ducati or Guzzi. Or had enough spare cash to buy / maintain a new one. The Guzzi S3 of the 70’s is second only to a T160 , in the best looking ever motorcycle stakes.
@bikerdood1100Ай бұрын
Mechanically competent ? For a Guzzi ? It’s a simple as it gets 😂 Check our video on servicing our Guzzi’s then look at our Honda workshop videos to see what I mean No chain and even doing the valves is literally Childs play and poor Italian reliability is a fantasy promoted by g those who either can’t see past Japanese bikes Not that they’re even particularly expensive either, our little Guzzi cost less these days than the Equivalent Honda. I had a Honda CX that blew its cam chain at a little over 35’000 miles Nether had a cam chain go on @ Guzzi in more than 30 years ownership I am b6 no means a mechanical but find servicing Guzzi’s and old British bikes for that matter pretty easy Japanese bikes That# another story
@martinowlАй бұрын
@@bikerdood1100 that’s good to hear. I can well believe your comment on poor reliability being promoted by pro jap factions, especially the press from the 70’s. My cx now has 42k on it, hope the cam chain doesn’t let go! Lol. I seriously considered a v7 a few years ago, when J&S were unloading their stock. £4999. Just a bit too low for my long legs, but still like the look. Simple suits me, lol 🤔😂

Oh yeah Shropshires where my Peeps be living 400 years ago baby. Hey what are those wires for that you have going down to your handgrips on your Guzzi? Heated grip wires?

Yes indeed they are, best invention since the motorcycle

@@bikerdood1100 very unusual design.ive never seen one like it. That Ducati Indiana is widely regarded as Ducatis most unpopular model ever but its still nice to see theres at least one still in use in the UK. I dont recall ever seeing one,there must have been very few sold here
@bikerdood1100Ай бұрын
The guy said it’s the only one still on the road at the moment
@CaptHollisterАй бұрын
I'm Canadian, but my family hails from Northern Italy where I keep a bike that perhaps some of your viewers have not heard of: a Motobi 125 2C, basically another rebadged Benelli. As the name suggests, this one is a 125c 2 cylinder 2 stroke. My daily is another Italian bike, a Moto Guzzi 1400 California, of which there aren't very many around.
@bikerdood1100Ай бұрын
I have featured MotoBI in a previous video in fact. Always good to hear a a Guzzi too

The name Darmah was taken from a series of novels written by Emilio Salgari and was the name of a fictional tiger apparently, it is pronounced like this : kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZ3PgqmwnsSHodU
@bikerdood1100Ай бұрын
Yep I covered it in a previous video It’s a children’s book that the designer read to his kid I believe Which is why a Tiger is indeed featured on the fuel tank It’s a cool name that’s some hover made even cooler by the link

Very jealous of the motorcycle culture you guys have over there

Well there is a problem at the heart of it I feel. It’s slowly dying with numbers declining year on year
