i just love it! Such a fun, light hearted song to just listen to and smile and sing along. I love the "my cousin Dolores can hear this whole chorus from miles away" while Dolores listen from afar and shakes her shoulders. So cute! Also all the "mirabel! mirabel!" just to end in Abuela shouting "Mirabel!!!! What are you doing?" while she has like four kids running around her is just so funny to me. No latino wants to be called in this tone by grandma and Mirabel's face says it all when she hears abuela. Also, from being from south america (Brazil) is so beautiful and heart touching seeing the familiar scenarios, trees, flowers, dances, the animals!!! Such a well made movie

Surprise that’s ONE of my favourite part too!Or i think the honest thing to say would be i love each and every second of this song😳🤧🤧😭❤️!The animations and the dance moves,disney really did an amazing job with the animation!!The movements of the characters whether it be in we don’t talk about bruno or this,the choreography is so freaking amazing and it’s ANIMATED!!Such a masterpiece!

It's a great song, and I agree that Stephanie Beatriz absolutely slays it. Honestly, I didn't think much of "The Family Madrigal" the first time I heard it, but it just got better each time I watched the film. So many cool details and different things going on --- just a beautiful introduction of these characters.

I think I see the confusion on the Julieta part, in Latin America or in Spanish the name is pronounced Julieta with a soft "hoo" sound while in Italian it would be Giulietta with a hard G sound.

The song seems to be a mixture of chandé music (typical of Carnaval de Barranquilla) with some vallenato cadence (in the singing) and garabato or puya styles: the fast singing and dancing at the end. All of them from the Caribbean region of Colombia. Colombia is like five countries in one, each with their own music genres, yet enjoyed by all Colombians.

All the songs in this movie are incredible, Lin-Manuel Miranda is a genius when it comes to musical and I admit have a bias towards him, but to be honest he's so talented. I'd like to also suggest you one song from this movie wich is very underrated compared to the others and really made me cry watching the movie, not she a tears, but literally sobbing for how well the lyrics "hit close to home" for me. It's called "Waiting on a Miracle", Stephanie Beatriz did a fantastic job there too and her delivery was amazing. Hit a chord inside and made me tremble, because it was telling me my own feelings better than I could've. Consider giving it a listen!

I used to know a family of Latin American heritage with the last name Madrigal. (Although the Madrigals I knew were Puerto Rican and the Madrigals in this movie are Colombian.) Not sure if the last name Madrigal is used at all in Spain or Portugal, but it does exist throughout Latin America.

You are not wrong about the Madrigal word, it was intentionally chosen as the song 'We don't talk about Bruno' is based on a madrigal configuration, that's why that song is polyphonic

I really enjoyed your honest reactions. I just found you after you reacted to Surface Pressure and I truly enjoy watching you enjoy music. Have you ever heard of BTS? I wanted to share one of my favorite songs with you by them called The Truth Untold. It's based off a fairy tale that's a cross between Phantom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast. It's about a disfigured man living in a castle who's only joy in life is his garden. One day he discovered a girl stealing his flowers and followed her to find that she was selling them to make a living. He begins to meet with her wearing a mask and comes to care for her. To help her he wants to make a new kind of flower and he works tirelessly to do so but when looks for her he discovers that she got sick and passed as he was working. It's a beautiful but tragic song. I believe you would appreciate it.

The songs in this movie are Bob, also please avoid All of Us and Dos Orogitus till you watch the movie since they've spoilers but would love to have your reaction on them once you've seen the movie. Would be great if you could post the movie reaction. Also now you understood that Bruno is actually uncle of Mirabelle. Bruno, Pepa and Julienne are triplets. Bruno is outcast because of his powers. Dolores's part were so silent in We don't talk about Bruno because of her enhanced hearing powers. Camilo is shape shifter, that explains his scenes in We don't talk about Bruno. Isabella is perfect golden child hence the major keys for her in We don't talk about Bruno while others had minor. I can't wait for your reaction on Waiting on a Miracle and What else can I do.
