Will Berk, I grew up with a grandma much like her. She was so content cooking. Always wore an apron and little black granny shoes. She also had a green thumb. If she found a leaf on the ground stomped on, she'd bring it home an a few weeks later it turned into a beautiful plant. She was amazing! She had morning glories in her yard and I would wait for them to open up early in the morning. Italian grandmas were the best. At Christmas time I'd sit in awe as she wrapped gifts beautifully. OMG! So soothing. She and her sisters made hand made lace. I could go on....lol. Glad so many viewers appreciate Gina. She's the real deal!

My dearly departed neighbor, Rose Marie Ligotino, taught this southern gal how to make biscotti. She always said mine was better. I used butter…she used oil. When I was younger, I would make 3 batches at a time. Coconut pecan, white chocolate chips w/ craisins & nuts, and chocolate with nuts. I love watching you cook dear Gina.
