Italian Improvised Tanks and Vehicles of World War II

Culqualber - Improvised Tractor Tank from 1941 , constructed from an old Catapillar D-6 tractor in the city of Gondar in order to defend the Gondar pass rmoutain in the Amhara region.

The italian colonial forces of only 2,900 troops in the area under the commmand of Augusto Ugolini were tasked with slowing down or halting the british forces of 22,500 troops from taking the gondar pass region and the nearby Lake Tana.
