Nah, you don't understand. We simply don't care where we park our cars. At some point in our history, traffic was so chaotic and stressful that people simply didnt give a damn about where they parked. My grandfather one day simply left his car go down a river just because he was literally pissed off of the traffic.

Back in about 1976 Bournemouth College rugby team had a few too many beers and we turned around 180 degrees all the cars, maybe 10 cars, parked in a short street. Except one; a huge Lancaster was much too heavy but we got it half way round. No one was up early enough to see the reaction of the car owners, but it made us laugh.

I've done that a couple of times myself. They're not very heavy those cars. You pick them up from the wheel arch and you can push them across the road.

Been there. Done that. Charleston RFC. I'm guessing 75 or 76. Snowstorm of the century hits South Carolina. Sunday we're traveling back home from Greenville down I-26. We stopped 5 or 6 times to push someone who was stuck out of our way and back into the road. Previously in my life I had seen snow in my hometown twice and all there was was a dusting. This time it was 6".

I watched Klipjies Krizinger, South African lock in the 80s, lift a Volkswagen out of a ditch by himself in the pouring rain, after having drunk 3 beers and a bottle of chocmint liqueur. He went home later in a dressing gown I loaned him. God help anybody who got in his way on the rugby field.
