Endless Dreamer I’ve flown them 4 times now across the Atlantic (most recent summer of 2019), not saying that they are rude, but they seem forced to be there, they serve the food and disappear. I’ve flown on Austrian Airlines many time, way better service. To Alitalia’s respect they are always on time, and it’s not a bad airline but I think they can do much better.

😂😂😂 you gotta be kidding.. I’m Italian and refuse to make my connection fights in Roma or Milano. Whenever I fly from the USA to go see my family in Italy, I prefer flying to Germany and then on to my destination. Reason? It’s sad to say but airports in Italy are a completely different experience, form delays, to customer service is close to none existent. Even the customs police is ridiculous, once they try to mess with my wife!!! I don’t put up with that kind of nonsense. Italy is indeed one of the most beautiful places in the world but Italians need to take lessons form other countries & cultures on how to be professional and business like! Love my land tho. 🇮🇹

Oh, finally you discovered the real best food on air! :) I use to fly on Alitalia Magnifica with 777 from Rome or A330 from Milan. Lounges in Italy are the best for hospitality and food. Alitalia needs to update IFE system on the whole fleet, but comfort on board (and food) are great!

I think Alitalia business class is nicer than other European airline. I personally worked for both Emirates, qatar and Alitalia as a cabin crew, and i can say Alitalia food selection is even better than Ek. They have starter- pasta- main- desert. Normally other j class including EK has only starter -main- desert.(It was definitely more work to do as a cabin crew in AZ though hehe). Especially Wine selection in Alitalia is very authentic. They keep changing wine in j class periodically from particular region in Italy. If u r a big fan of Italy, i think Alitalia j class is a smart choice in pricewise as well. And their fleet for longhaul is like a340 or b 777 which is quite small.. compare to a380. So if u fancy these big aircraft, u might be a bit disappointed with a smaller size of the cabin. But the good thing about flying j class in smaller aircraft is that u get ur food very quickly lol...One of the biggest complaint from Emirates J class in a380 is pax should wait foreverrrrr to get their meal due to the massive size of j class. BTW i am only talking about J class... economy in Alitalia?? Hmmmmm well....

As an italian I must say italians are ashamed of Alitalia. An almost failed company with poor service and few nice people on board usually (it seems you were lucky). From the video everything seems perfect but you can see I am right from a small detail (you don't notice if you are not probably): how can you serve as a prime option tomato pasta in first class? Making it special by just writing with san marzano tomatoes. This is an epic fail, and they do so to cut costs in a class where people pay a lot. Love your videos Sam, happy you had a great time on a non great company

I flew Alatalia in 95'. I recall all the Italians on board were raising crucifix and rosaries when we landed. It was first flight on my own. I was terrified!!
