how could you talk about the revolutions of 1848 without mentioning the very first one that year, in Sicily, which succeeded in creating an independent Sicilian republic for a year?

I had to cut out some parts due to time constraints, unfortunately my script was getting a bit long so I had to cut some things here and there, including the Sicilian revolt. I decided to keep the 1848 narrative focussed on the north as it was rather formative for the rise of Sardinia-Piedmont.
