Well, it must be said that what you said is not completely unrealistic since the book says that even at a distance like 50km, while remaining on tip one (UK) a passport is necessary. Despite this, which is very plausible, the protagonist finds images depicting the former leaders of the Ignosev visiting New York approximately in 1980. However, it is a nice theory that leads us to assume that Eurasia in reality is nothing more than an alliance between the Stalinist USSR which, like the IRL, would be ultra-defamed and the countries of what we today call NATO but which for them could perhaps have been Pan Europe. Anyway, great theory.

Realistically, moving forwards from the final outcome, East Asia would not be able to keep up with the other two powers and would likely be reduced either to a buffer zone or partitioned, as INGSOC and Eurasia hold an uncontested dominance over the world oil supply. INGSOC has the US, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and the Guyanas, while Eurasia has half the Persian Gulf, the Caspian, and Norway. East Asia has nothing by comparison.

Everything has a chance of being a lie, even the nuclear war and all this constant war. Beautiful video. However, I would like to point out that 1984 was written in 1949, and therefore WW2 was already over. Furthermore, the regimes of Eastasia, Eurasia and Oceania were established, according to what the book states, around the 1960s. The one that the book traces most is that of IGNOSEV for obvious reasons, which clearly says that all the books preceding the 1960 revolution were destroyed. The book then indicates that in the 1950s someone referred to in the book as ''We shouldn't have trusted them'' will drop the atomic bomb on Wessex. Then it must be said that technically the ideology of China or Eastasia, if you prefer, is the cult of death, a corrupt form of Chinese philosophy, therefore not of Moist origin. Despite these inconsistencies I must say that the video is very well made, keep it up.

More like true example of a 'contested zone'. They asked many times to join USSR, and Soviet forces of Transbaikal military district were stationed here, but USSR refused each time due to fear of provoking chinese conflict. It's just like with those matches on the map in East Europe, a certain degree of influence but not much. I don't think USSR would have saved Mongolia if China would truly commit to returning it back.

This was a really awesome video, friend. :) Believe it or not, actually, it may be that Oceania never existed beyond the isles of Britain and Ireland themselves, and that Eurasia and Eastasia never existed. That the world was still the same sane place between Nato and the Warsaw Pact as real life. A video I saw about the lore from another mapper explained that after the collapse of the Soviets in 1991, Nato began a full invasion of Britain and Ireland to liberate the people there, restore Democracy, and destroy Ingsoc for good.
