Bless you! Many many years with music like this! Recently seen Tosca in London, this Te Deum is probably the most thrilling part of the performance. The live music and singing and the actual meaning of it brings the cold shivers of the spine. Not many pieces can do that.

Whose heart did not melt when Dmitri graced us with that famous smile which lit up his face? He had it all, but the gods decreed that he was not destined to walk (or sing) among us for too long. Thank goodness we live in an age where, though we mourn his loss, we can still revisit his spellbinding performances.

Dmitri , el mejor, el unico, que voz y que prescencia arriba del escenario. Solo estuve una vez en la Plaza Roja en febrero de 1990 y viendo este escenario que han montado para esta actuacion me emociona como pocas veces.
