Die hard white sox fan. It was a joy watching TA play in his good years. Given our horrible “contention window”, the field of dreams walk off was probably the highlight of the last few years. But man TA’s decline this year was brutal. By time he got knocked out by JRam I was done. Im glad the sox are moving on, and i genuinely hope TA can get back to his old ways, because at the end of the day, he made baseball a lot more fun to watch.
@guyincognito32011 ай бұрын
Donaldson was more entertaining and exciting. As was Trevor Bauer tbh. Those guys were hated, not so much TA. I felt TA sort of stole their valor as a guy who's 'changing the game' and being despised for it. Throwing a bat after hitting your 10th homer in mid August is arguably lame, not exciting. But Donaldson was so into the game at all times, always finding some way to create energy or get under the opponent's skin. And then Bauer brought WWF drama to the game in addition to all the pitching/training insights. As always the actual great/unique people are the ones who everyone despises and rejects.

BRO...no. There was a LOT more to the José/Lil Timmy argument. Timmyyyy was being an A-hole (SURPRISE!) all game to Cleveland's rookies. Swiping their hands off of bases, calling them names, etc. Even an umpire the game before 'the fight' told Timmy to settle down. José took exception because he was doing it to rookies who can't fight back because, to loosely quote José, 'theyre fighting for playing time' and can't afford to stand up and risk a suspension. So José, the amazing and humble teammate and human that he is, and complete opposite of Timmyyyy, said 'I got your backs' and slid into Timmyyyyy just waiting for him to do the slightest thing. That tag wasn't much, but it was the spark needed. F**k Jackie.
