Donaldson was right to mock him for that. Who the hell compares themselves to Jackie Robinson for breaking the “fun barrier”? It’s a really tone deaf ridiculous thing to say

Just in general, calling yourself the next anybody who’s a legend is stupid and will get you mocked by everybody, let alone someone like Jackie who was not only a legend for what he did on field but for his impact outside baseball all over the world. It’s not racist to mock you by calling you someone you called or compared yourself to

Die hard white sox fan. It was a joy watching TA play in his good years. Given our horrible “contention window”, the field of dreams walk off was probably the highlight of the last few years. But man TA’s decline this year was brutal. By time he got knocked out by JRam I was done. Im glad the sox are moving on, and i genuinely hope TA can get back to his old ways, because at the end of the day, he made baseball a lot more fun to watch.

Donaldson was more entertaining and exciting. As was Trevor Bauer tbh. Those guys were hated, not so much TA. I felt TA sort of stole their valor as a guy who's 'changing the game' and being despised for it. Throwing a bat after hitting your 10th homer in mid August is arguably lame, not exciting. But Donaldson was so into the game at all times, always finding some way to create energy or get under the opponent's skin. And then Bauer brought WWF drama to the game in addition to all the pitching/training insights. As always the actual great/unique people are the ones who everyone despises and rejects.

@@guyincognito320 It could be argued that TA stole it from Jose Fernandez though. There’s no one guy, but Fernandez’s youthful energy, coupled with his untimely death, really set the stage for all the “youth movement” players like TA, Tatis, and Chisholm. Also the Bautista bat flip, can’t forget that.

Late Career Elvis Andrus is outperforming Tim Anderson, his BA was better, he hit more HRs, he had better defense, and he is alot nicer than Tim Anderson. Nothing towards Elvis Andrus because he was great in Texas, but he isn't known for his bat that much.

BRO...no. There was a LOT more to the José/Lil Timmy argument. Timmyyyy was being an A-hole (SURPRISE!) all game to Cleveland's rookies. Swiping their hands off of bases, calling them names, etc. Even an umpire the game before 'the fight' told Timmy to settle down. José took exception because he was doing it to rookies who can't fight back because, to loosely quote José, 'theyre fighting for playing time' and can't afford to stand up and risk a suspension. So José, the amazing and humble teammate and human that he is, and complete opposite of Timmyyyy, said 'I got your backs' and slid into Timmyyyyy just waiting for him to do the slightest thing. That tag wasn't much, but it was the spark needed. F**k Jackie.

Tim's attitude and ego far outshined his game most of the time. It also bothered me when he compared himself to a REAL legend who faced a lot of hate along the way. And no, he was NEVER the best player on the field. I was praying the Ramirez knocked some sense into him - if not, being a free agent for the first surely did. Everyone always says that lmao. God forbid I want to enlighten other people and give advice. Doesn't mean I have to be going through stuff in my personal life. I see too many men and women having these issues, whether it's not respecting themselves or having standards, simping or whatever, so I like to tell people how to go about things. People like to jump to conclusions too often. I'm simply just giving my thoughts I have no personal issues going on with that kind of stuff💀

@@iTalkStudios yeah but the average person knows not to stay with a cheater and tryna correlate it back to his career the way that you did was kinda weird especially since he’s been very keen on not speaking about it. Just random since this isn’t your usual thing to do

I watch a lot of your videos and generally agree with you, but I gotta be honest, the relationship portion of this video came off as incredibly naive. Life isn't as simple as "just leave because infidelity and self worth", especially when you have a spouse and children. I remember thinking the same way you did when I was younger and single, so I get it, but just remember, you have no clue what goes on inside anyone's home so judging people on that subject is just kind of shitty.shifty. It's not that black and white.

Tim needs to get his life together so that he can get his baseball career back. Maybe get signed by a team and develop for part of a year in the minors and then get sent back to the mlb.

It’s loser behavior to show up pitchers. I don’t know why the young generation doesn’t understand respect. You give up a home run and watch someone act like they won the lottery. All the greats acted like they had done it before and weren’t acting like jackasses

Supposedly, the Angels are interested in Tim Anderson, because of course they are. It would be such an Angels move to sign him.
