I truly believe the reason this doesn’t have more likes is because people are totally mesmerized by the sound and just forget to do it.

Does anyone not being a ”synth nerd” actually understand how brilliant this is?!!! You and I would probably been friends at school in the 80`s. Playing 8 bit arcade games, doing some code (peek/poke) on the C:64, and the moment after fideling on some synths. Just as today recreating the hits of the 80’s. Impressive collection of vintage gear, and lots of respect to see you know what synth to go for certain original sound. Pure joy to watch and listen to your videos!

I’m a 68 year old semi-retired sax player. I owned a Juno-60, Ensoniq sampler, Roland and Alesis drum machines and few other Roland synths over the years and back in the day. I ran a studio for a few of those years. I just discovered this channel a few days ago. Unbelievable talent and collection here. Much respect and so much fun to listen and watch. PS I still have some the gear if anyone is interested.

Your live arpeggios are laser precise but your baselines on the moog are layback funky so are your live melodies. This makes your versions more human and funky and live than many of the originals. As all people we sigh a regret when the famous key slide marks the end of each sampled treat of this candybox. Just fantastic 👍👍👍👍👍👍👌

Ahhh, 1:58 brings me back to my college days (Kano - Another Life). Oh wait, so does 3:05 (Ken Laszlo - hey hey guy!) "Let me know what happens here tonight" 4:00 - Doctor's Cat - "You must feel the drive! (Get into the strive!)" 6:02 I never considered Yaz part of this genre, though the era was the same. Awesome tune. (Situation) 8:05 Oh, it's Paul Parker (Right on target)!! OK, pretty much this whole thing has brought me back to my college days. Here in Southern California, this was not popular music, but my Vietnamese and Chinese friends shared Modern Talking, Gazebo, Fancy, Lian Ross, Joy, Miko Mission, and all the rest with me. Thank goodness! Nice recreations! Thanks for making these. :)
