Preaching to the converted. Italy has some wonderful landscapes filled with so many diverse towns and cities. Its early civilisations and it subsequent fracturing into so many smaller entities have left behind a stunning historical smorgasbord of delights. The south (other than Sicily) has so far eluded me but I hope to put that right soon.

A beautiful trip to some of the most characteristic areas and cities of northern Italy!! Filming in the Dolomites takes your breath away... the beauty of nature and the typical architecture of the mountain villages give us enchanting images, accompanied by sweet music that represents the calm and slowing down of time in those places!! And then Lake Garda, one of my favorite places and the uniqueness of Venice and the beauty of Verona!! What an exciting sightseeing tour, nothing is missing!! Thanks for this tribute to my country!! I would love to visit Rome and Venice but would hate all the crowds of other people there. So if I could only pick 2 places I know I would love it would be the Cadini de Misurina and the Lago di Braies of all the ones you showed us, they both looked amazing, cheers Alan
