It is good that the trains were available for service in Italy and not wasted after being withdrawn in Belgium and Netherlands. Italian high speed trains do look pretty luxurious and the country itself is very beautiful and has contributed alot towards the world culture and technology. As for the GDP I knew North Italy was very industrialised but it still came surprise when you said the po Valley alone makes up half the economy. I guess it makes it harder for the rest of the country when the GDP is focused like that

Hi and thanks for watching! I agree it‘s good that these trains are rolling in Italy now giving the passengers more travel options. I wonder though what kind of problems there were in the Netherlands and how Trenitalia has solved them. Christian from travelmentary TV

@@travelmentaryTV the following text is translated from a summary of an investigation conducted by the dutch parliament winter problems Damage and falling of plating, loosening of large pieces of ice that had grown on the train, the horn becoming unusable, snow getting into electrical boxes, door steps becoming unusable and cracking in certain places on the outside of the trains (which AnsaldoBreda says is caused by icing). Assembly problems The loosening of a door, the tearing of a cable, the spontaneous opening of side hatches, the loosening of roof strips. battery fire Fire in a battery of a decommissioned Fyra. According to AnsaldoBreda, the fire is the result of poor maintenance of the battery after the Fyra was taken out of service, according to the NS it was due to a defective design of the low-voltage system. In the period between 9 September 2012 and 6 December 2012, all this resulted in an average failure rate of 11 percent on the Amsterdam-Rotterdam route. On ten days the failure rate is more than 30 percent and on five days 50 percent of all Fyras themselves fail. in addition to these matters, several things also went wrong with the approval of the train. You can attribute these errors not only to the train manufacturer, but also to the Dutch regulators. hope that it has become clear why they were not allowed to drive in the Netherlands.

@@jeroenstalman3668 I guess you have to travel to Italy to have at least something of the 800 millions that were spent on the train 🚂 😅
