I miss the food, My Grandmother made that for us when we were small, she was from Sicily and my Grandpa was from Ireland and they met on the boat to Ellis island and got married in NY, it was a poor person meal that was cheep to make, it was so good.. There is a scam in Rome where men dress up like “gladiators” and they stand in front of the Colosseum on the outside. If a tourist takes a picture of the Colosseum & those men, they try to ask for money as a “modeling” fee. Those men even try to jump into other photos to make money. The bracelet scam, they put the bracelet on a tourist’s arm and then ask for money. Or throw it to the tourists. And when the tourist catches the bracelets they ask for money. I’ve seen a couple of KZbin videos about this. The thing is, once the bracelet gets on your arm it’s very hard to take off for some reason. And that is the point: the scammers have made the bracelet very small and tight and difficult to get off and so the tourist feels obligated to pay.
