hello hello! welcome back to another vlog - I am so so happy to share with you part of the trip to Italy! exploring the ruins of rome has seriously been a dream come true - and Venice is one of the most interesting places I have ever been to - it also had so many wonderful bookstores :') (I also apologize for all of the boat background noise in the Venice clips, it was a little loud!) Anyway, I hope you're doing well and find some peace in these scrambled scenes xx

I lived in Venice for six months as an exchange student and it's so nostalgic to see the places I used to frequent and the neighborhoods I used to walk around in through your eyes, it makes me want to go back there. I hope you have good memories of this place.

I think one of the things I love most about your videos is the way you capture the beauty in the smaller, and more ordinary things, like ripples from the water, the cracks in the brick walkway, the way the wind ruffles a hanging plant... all of that makes it feel so authentic and real. I appreciate you Emma!

Venice in fall/winter looks so nice! I visited in summer and it was so crowded and hot I felt supper suffocated. I would love to go back and see Venice like this -- so beautifu and calm

To me (I'm from Rome) Venice is a city of the north, it has a central European vibe and also a melancholic mood that can be much better experienced in winter...

Hi Emma! Second-year uni super stressed student in the middle of the exam week here. Just wanted to say, that I DID tear up at the intro, because seeing all the beautiful buildings and little details on them makes me remember why we're on this Earth really. To enjoy and appreciate beauty and all the things it manifests into. Thank you so much for being such a comfort in those troubling times

Hi Emma! Italian here, it's always so fascinating so see my country through the eyes of foreigners. I'm so so glad you are enjoying your stay. 💚💚The bookshop you went to in Venice, which was red and white, was probably the one called Ubik. It's so strange to me that you find trains here to be perfect. I take trains literally everyday for work (and I've had for so many years when I went to school) and I can assure you they are a mess, always late, they drive us mad on a daily basis but apparently you have been lucky and that's great 😂😂 We usually buy our bottles of water in grocery stores, coffee shops or vending machines. You would do wonders in your own documentary program, Julius Seizure will not be forgotten😂 Shelley's grave always brings tears to my eyes. Can't wait to see part 2 of your holiday. Lots of love!!

seeing this video was really emotional for me. i live and study in venice and it is truly the most beautiful city in the world, it's so moving for me to see that you crossed the same streets that i cross everyday, that you saw the acqua alta (luckily it's not an everyday thing!). i hope venice gave you the same magic sensation that i feel everyday. the silence, the fog, the water, the smell... i still can't believe it's real. and i love it so much. so glad you got to experience that.

If you are ok with cooler/colder temps (which I know you are), it's great travelling in off-peak season. Less crowded, fewer tourists, the locals have more time for real conversation, more availability for accommodation, cheaper accommodation, and doing lots of walking is more bearable than in the summer.

For me Venice and Florence are the most beautiful cities in the World. I spent 10 days in November in Venice once and Venice is a whole different city at this time of the year than in spring or summer and I love this atmosphere. I was meant to go back to Venice in 2020 but then the pandemic happened....but I will go again... next year in March/April and I can't wait. I am from Germany and there is a direct train connection from Munich to Venice which makes it just such a relaxing journey and one can see so much of the italian landscapes while on the train, I could do this forever. I understand your struggles with the italian language of the natives. I asked once an elderly venetian Signora for the way to a certain shop....and she was starting so fast and with so many gestures, I lost her meaning after the first sentence,.😂 Grazie per mostrarci le tue impressioni.❤

I was in Rome with my Boyfriend last Summer and we visited this Museum and its fantastic. There are so many Bookcases and Books displayed in multiple Rooms with lots of informations. And there's also the Room where Keats lived and died, the room has a view over the Spanish Steps. Theres also a lot about Lord Byron and Mary Shelley, aswell as a cute little shop with Postcards, Bookmarks and Books from Lord Byron, Keats and Shelley. I dearly hope you will have the chance to visit this phenomenal Museum one day.
