Positano is beautiful but as someone that stayed there this summer, don’t. Capri too. Sorrento seemed more reasonable but it’s crazy overpriced: everything. Everyone is just rich tourists from around the world so it doesn’t even feel like Italy anymore. The food was solid, but better and so much cheaper in other towns. Pizza slice in Positano - 17€-18€. Pizza slice in Napoli - 3€-4€, and much better too. So definitely don’t stay there unless you want to feel like you’re being scammed, maybe just go in for the day to enjoy the beautiful beaches, but again don’t expect it to be cheap, your money will go so much further elsewhere.
