Lake Como is beautiful (like other lakes in Italy: Garda, Maggiore etc.) I'm sorry you found bad weather, unfortunately it's an unpleasant thing on holiday because you have to be lucky to find good weather and it's not always like that.

If you’re in Milan there’s a modern art industrial kind of museum (I forgot the name) and as part of your entry fee you can choose a poster for free each - they have loads for every taste. It’s a nice souvenir (if you’re willing to buy a A2 (I believe) formatted frame.
