Manu, I have tried so much and do often to learn Italian on my own. I am going on my 14th trip to Italy this sept 23rd… and I decided I am going to pull this together after failing do often by not practicing for a year or two in between. I came across your 30 day course… it’s AWESOME! You are a spectacular Italian teacher. You teach in the way I live to learn. I Learn by the spoken word… as I remember best this way. I will exhaust KZbin and then your site. You deserve everything you earned from such well done lessons! 10 out of 10 stars.

The rule of plural itself is not confusing, but the combination to masculine and feminine makes it complicated

If you have a masculine singular noun and a feminine plural noun sharing adjectives would you describe them with masculine plural adjectives? "Il tavolo e le sedie sono neri e bianchi." ? A set of a table and chairs in the store.

Hi Manu, thanks for your excellent explanation. However, can you please confirm if there is a typo in your chart for the word Bianco, should the Masculine Plural be BIANCHI ( based on your pronunciation), rather than banchi, as in your chart. Thank you.

Wouldn't I need to immerse myself in a course actually conducted in Italy itself? Like a Summer School, I mean at an Italian University like Erasmus/mini Erasmus? Say University of Rome or Florence? Where is the clearest Italian spoken? I don't want to learn an Italian dialect? Grazie
@99orinoco996 ай бұрын
hi :) what makes 'Brioche' feminine?
@trueeast7 ай бұрын
im not sure if we will learn this but how come we assume the gender of cats and not dogs in Italian. For example, cane being unsure but gatto (masculine) implying it is sure whats different between cats and dogs when it comes to language?
@AnnetteMurphyger2 ай бұрын
I am attempting to do 6 languages at the same time, Is that too many together. Well my standard in Irish and German is about C1 or C2. So the Italian. French, Russian are about Elementary to Intermediate Level. My Ukrainian is more basic than that unfortunately. I did attend an Intensive Summer School at the University of Berlin in Advanced German 2011, but in the past I worked in Munich and South Baveria and they spoke Bayrisch down there, not German. Likewise I do not want to learn an Italian dialect or Swiss Italian, for example.

I thought "panino/i" meant "bread roll/s"... is it more common to use panino or tramezzino?
@italymadeeasy Жыл бұрын
great question! Panino and tramezzino are two different things in Italy 😆 panino is made with "regular" bread, while tramezzino is made with a specific soft white bread, with the crust removed 🤗
