Best part is, you explained it without jargons. Plain and simple.

I'm not an IT professional but as Intermal Auditor assigned to audit inventory in an IT Company this video that explains the basics of ITAM is really helpful. Thanks! I would recommend to create ITAM videos one for software, other for network, etc to deeply understand the key points of ITAM for each type of familiy asset.

Excellent! Clarity, Showmanship, humor, articulation, facial expression, Smiles, Teeth, fitness, Acting, Dramatization, Witty... Well done. They should have a category at the Oscar's for the Best IT Short Instructional Films.. hahah. TYVM. I should pick up some points to embellish my boring videos which no one watches... hahah

Hello, correct me if I'm wrong, but I currently work as a Desktop Support II and In the company I work for, and even my previous company, the "Skype/Low Disk Space" example, would be the responsibility of the Help Desk team/Technical Support. In other words it's my responsibility to figure out why a user is having issues with their software or why a software can't be install in their machine. The Asset Manager is responsible for software licenses, inventory/assets, getting quotes, ordering equipment or software, etc.

This is a way for conglomerates to maintain their validity of their core business when they lose their subsidiaries, partnerships and franchises and ... to their "business contractors". use asset management to identify the locations and workers and ... pay salaries. Others will avoid asset tag and tagged assets of your core business, main branch. Some people like to use confusion, obfuscation, complication, ... tactics against smarter and more capable people, leading to their schemes being exposed by themselves.
