Great positivity and great advice. I passed my A+ core 2 today, and as a 58-year old I’m nervous about how my age will affect my opportunities as I enter the field so late in the game. You hit on two very important and very relevant points; invest in yourself, and find that work/life balance. Thanks to both of you for making and posting this video

My uncle, who introduced me into the industry, just turned 50 recently. He only started 10 years ago, didn't even know what CompTIA was, and didn't grow up with technology in his life. He was still able to find good opportunity despite the overly-saturated market. So there's always opportunity out there! Good luck to you :)

I took me 6 months after I got my CCNA to get a Network Admin Job. After every Interview I brain dumped what I could remember and practiced answering the questions I knew these other jobs would be asking me. After you get to NO you realize the only way forward is YES and someone is bound to give you a chance. I got to the point where I was Interviewing the jobs I was going for. KEEP GOING, If this is what you want to do, only you can stop you.

What are the main few things that you deal with as an MSP technician? what is your strategy to become a netowrk admin or engineer?
@GabrielJamesMusic2 ай бұрын
@@thisIsAnilG in MSP work, you handle every from easy tier 1 issues, all the way to network deployments. The key to my progression is to pad that resume and learn everything I can. Once I feel ready to move up, apply for the next step in the game. I plan on doing what I’m doing for a couple years to build an awesome foundation.

Do you think network engineering is an entry level job? I’m working on Net+ now and might go for CCNA after. I’m definitely interested in Cybersecurity but Network Security interests me a lot. What are some projects I can do?
