Interesting story! The TLDR is essentially gets hands on experience with the tools/programs that you’d most likely encounter in a help desk situation?

alot of IT jobs and Helpdesk are minimal wage in some EU countries xD in some countries barely above 600 dollar a month when u have to pay 500 - 700 for home rent, eat food and then save for a better certification.. that cost 5000, I would say from my POV, cybersecurity and many certs is for rich kids even if u manage to get a cert most will laugh for sure since even companies recruiting want entry level rookie with more than 5 years experience and a lot of expensive certs...

Do something about it! Get a part time or side hustle for you to afford it! Be a nice person don’t be a dick! I’m from a 3rd world country we’re poor but with hard work and being nice I was able to get a job as a software analyst for a Canadian company. Now bcoz I get a long with the employees the owner of the company asked me to apply for an IT specialist ff I got the position and now I’m living in Canada and maybe some time nxt yr I most likely moving to the US to assist with our company’s IT infrastructure. So be nice! Good luck! ✌🏽❤️

Parone me, what is your resume?
@srenlarsen31483 ай бұрын
I have done IT help desk for tec company's and IT groups. But the marked is dead for IT help desk in my country. Companys have moved on to higher IT fields. EU dont have those USA jobs anymore. And courses and cert... nobody look at this anymore in HR. And normal way to get them is inside a company that have the money to pay for it. And after 1 year cert is not valid anymore, and the show starts all over.

Not smart to put your notes for an interview by your computer some hiring managers look to see if your looking around a lot it might disqualify you.

If someone takes the time to write notes and prepare for an interview I wouldn't mind at all. It shows they care. A big part of IT is googling for answers anyways!
