And it’s a wrap! The official last video of season 6.. 🥹 You have now also caught up with me in real-time, because I am still waiting for Alaska to arrive! During season 6, I had built up the time between filming and releasing episodes substantially. That had several reasons and advantages. That way, I could reach Alaska in time before winter, didn’t have to stress with deadlines, I could make sure there was an episode ready every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I had time to race the Baja Rally and spend extra time on editing those videos. It also allowed me to keep my real-time location hidden, for my own safety, because the internet is mostly a beautiful but sometimes also a bit of a scary place :) But… shipping a motorcycle with sea freight is a time consuming hobby, so now all there is left to do is wait. Once my motorcycle arrives, I will start riding and filming and give myself a bit of a head start again so I can edit the first episodes before releasing them. Fingers crossed I can start soon because I am super excited to hit the road again! ❤❤ I wish everybody a very happy 2023 and talk soon!!

Itchy Boots was answering a question about how fast does she rides and mentions that she doesn't ever expect to go blasting down a dirt road at 80 or 90 kph. Of course I flashed back (forward) to her spending a bit of time plucking out cactus thorns after crashing in her Baja Rally! To her credit she does state later in the video, " Well you never know whats going to happen" She brightens my days and is an antidote to all the doom and gloom.

I wonder the cost of rebuild was greater than the sales one? Here in socal that rate is $150/hour 😀

I have always appreciated and love who you are. Those who prefer to be alone are intelligent, conscious about time, value time, good at planning their lives etc etc. l too love to be alone. Great scientists like Edison and many others prefer to be alone. I love your determination the moment I watched the first video ‘Kick Off’ Lots of love from all of us. Ride safe and may you be a star of all the bikers out there.

Thank you so much for your work. Watching your videos has inspired our young children to want to travel the world and not be afraid to try new things. They were so tickled when you traveled through areas that we have been to.

We will be taking a cross country trip with the kids in a few months. They want to document it just like you do. We will let you know and I'll have the kids comment to you the highlights. Thanks so much for continuing to inspire.

Big congratulations to you Noraly for finishing your trip and somehow managing to shoehorn the Baja rally in! Love from me and my wife here in NZ. Oh, and I know you are not landing here because we are not on a continent! Cheers, Al

Hi Noraly , being from Australia I'm a fan of Toby but it's like watching a friend now that you have introduced us to Mason . And may I say what so many others have said and that is that your travels are so inspiring and as a follower of yours if you do make Australia your next trip there is room in the bike garage and a spare room in the house if you need a few days off in Perth. It would be an honour to meet you , Kind regards John

Hi Noraly, always wonderful and congratulations for completing the 6th season not without difficulties and inconveniences but brilliantly overcome thanks to your skills, your constancy, your common sense and even a small dose of luck (...which doesn't hurt never!!!!!!). Best wishes for a happy 2023 and thank you for the wonderful adventures you will give us.

Great that you met Bill and were able to have a thorough rebuild of Alaska by a competent team! Anxiously awaiting your next adventure and getting to see another continent though your eyes. I hope that Alaska is in a speed boat! Lol…. Ride safe and Happy New Year Noraly!

She's going to take some heat no matter what she does but, in this case, she absolutely did the right thing. Considering what that motorcycle is going to do and where it's going to do it, it makes perfect sense to go through it after it has some run time to see what problems could be brewing. I don't think most riders have any clue as to how common it is for the people that know to go through something just to see how it is.

As a 30+ year bike technician, that was an absolute ton of work on that rebuild! I bet if you were to film the entire thing, it would be over 20 hours of work! Those fellows did a great job, and it's awesome you got to join them and film it! I'm looking forward to the new season!! The bike looks fantastic!

We were there for a good three days but there were definitely some breaks! Not exactly a flat rate job so we took our time.
@PSBEadventures2 жыл бұрын
@Daren Beard those are the best kind man. I really enjoyed watching you guys get it back in order! You think that shaft may of not got quite the heat treatment most do? Those things usually last the life of a Honda. I know she's put it through the wringer, but I've seen a ton of sprokets wear out in the splines before the countershaft does. Maybe that crazy volcanic sand or something.

I really think it's one of the forum things where it does happen to these bikes and just riding across the world it was hard to catch. You know how it is, sometimes that one bike has that weird problem. Seems like I see something new everyday with bike.

@Daren Beard yep, same here. Always a goofy issue here and there for sure! Enjoy the new year man.

probably cheaper to buy new bike than rebuild and ship the old one

Gorgeous Bike !! Alaska looks like a brand new bike and beautiful too with its new decals. Congratulations Noraly for the wonderful job. And on top of it you said it feels perfect to ride , that makes it even better. We are super excited to watch the next season , the location of which is a suspense. Let me take a wild guess , may be its Australia. Anyways, Good Luck to you Itchy Boots and a Very Happy New Year . Wish you wonderful rides wherever you chose to. God Bless

Australia was my first guess also...but on second thoughts, New Zealand would also be a good choice. Oz is huge, with lots of dirt tracks...but also pretty empty and flat. NZ, on the other hand, has snow-capped mountains, jungles, rainforest...whatever you want...and all in a comparatively small area, so there's less time wasted traveling from one point of interest to the next. I can't think of anywhere else is far enough away that transport by ship would be both cost effective and still a fairly long wait. Anywhere else and you could do a short jaunt by air or sea, then overland it by truck the rest of the way if (or ride it herself.) But I'm looking forward to seeing how far off the mark I am. 😀
