Mark, I am 80 and about five years ago I began spending time with a woman who, like myself, was not interested in a "relationship." We have become best of friends and do all the "couples" types of things together--dinners, movies, social gatherings--without the complexity of intimacy that neither of us wants. This relationship may be the best thing that has happened to this old single guy. And still riding my Road King and Triumph Thruxton after a stage four cancer diagnosis eleven years ago. Get out of that retreat you call home and enjoy whatever time you have left!

Happy belated birthday Mark! Im in my 50s found out I have hereditary hearing loss and tinitus as well. Got some hearing aids at Costco after my Mom had good luck with hers. They were $1499. I cried a little when I first put them in because I didnt realize how many sounds I was missing. I could hear people around me at the store kids laughing the registers beeping in the store. Could hear leaves russleing and birds chirping seat belt alarm dinging in my truck things like that. It also helped some with cognitive issues being able to hear conversations better. I dont like to wear them at home but Ive gotten used to it have to have them for work or else I cant hear on the phone.You might consider going in for a hearing test and see what they say.

He, Mark, I hear you. I'm 74 and have those same lapses of memory. I hate it when I can't remember a word I've used for most of my life. I usually tell my wife what I'm trying to say and she says a word and I go, "Yeah, that's it, thanks honey." Ha. Hope it doesn't get any worse than that. Marry Christmas to you and you family. Good video Mark , I’ve had the memory lapse like you spoke of a few times. Got to admit it kinda concerns me a little. Don’t happen often . I’ve had tinnitus for many years . Had a partial knee replacement last Tuesday, first couple of days and nights were rough , but not so bad now just lots of physical therapy to go thru . Happy belated birthday! God Bless

I've got aids Itchy. No just the ones that go in the ear. Thankfully I had an HSA card when I was still working or it would have been a hard pill to swallow buying something that expensive to stick in my ears. I am sure the boss was happier when I stopped asking him what all the time. Happy Birthday Itchy and I hope what ever you have going on with the doctor turns out well.

Mark, Not a pleasant event at the doctor's office. I'd say the phlebotomist FLUBBED up royally to say the least. You go to the 'professionals' and expect they do things right. It's not like they're changing oil in a car (or your bike) ..... They're working on your body which takes care, not getting the bums rush, as they used to say. I was in hospital 3 years ago with fever, upchucking, etc, etc. They sent me home and in a couple hours later I was back in icu. Had they waited for tests to come back they would have known it was food poisoning. I pulled thru, but scarry, yes. We all have our horror stories. Your upcoming gathering sounds right nice. "Love to share with friends", now that's what we like to hear. Not strange to hear that from you because you've expressed that sentiment before., it's just the way you are. Thanks as always.

Heck Itchy I’m only 47 years old and I find myself searching for the dang word I’m trying to say. Sometimes I’ll look at my wife and start explaining to her what I’m trying to say. It’s almost like a game of charades. She usually will know the word I’m looking for but if not like you said it will come to me later on.

GOD said that HE appointed unto man to live a max of 120 years, and unless JESUS returns before my 120 years is up. Do you believe in any of the thousands of gods that predate the god of the bible ? and how do you know all other religions in the world many which predate Christianity are wrong and yours is right ? There were and still are other Gods. They may predate the Bible itself, but they don't predate the true God who is and has always been. But my God said "do not put any other gods before me". He is the only true God and creator of all.
