Yeah, the sound level would be straight out of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Not good for an under the desk workstation… Maybe a remote desktop with the unit in the garage. 🤣🤣🤣

What do I need to expand this server to 16SFF or 24SFF. I have the 8SFF model and would like to expand its storage. It has a P408i-a controller

hi there Bolarinwa, I will refer you to one of our sales associates for the details [e-mail]. That said you will need to purchase a few more of the 8-bay drive cages plus a SAS expander board for the p408-i controller to address all the drives. Will also need aa few cables. This modification is doable but you need a bunch of stuff to make it happen. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching!

This is a very powerful system when theres an RTX 2080ti or 2 in it with NVLink
