I would say more of #2, since at least personally I don't really pay attention to if someone contacts me and don't really notice unless I'm directly looking at my phone, and honestly I have a habit of locking doors completely(deadbolt and all..) even if someone doesn't have their keys as again it's a habit that admitidly has backfire on me because I've locked myself out of my house too, though luckily I'm usually around to hear the door being knocked on or at least able to hear the door bell(not that there's a choice with dogs..). However ager towards a child and or spouse for being in the hospital or needing something at all and not taking accountability/blaming anyone but themselves is one hell of a red flag, if not a rad flag it's painted the sky red intead..

I truly hate the mentality that woman must do, and men must do. This is too modern of times to think this way. If you live in the house, then you help clean it. If you eat the food, then you help wash up. That is just common sense. One sex is no better than the other. Sure, when it comes to childbearing and how strong one is, yes there is differences. But I have had help from my late husband, and he understood the need to help his wife because I helped him when he needed it.

Let's set aside for a sec that this husband is a douche that deserves to lose his family. The school should never have let a child walk home without calling a parent to inform them personally that it would be happening. If Dad's not aware the kid is coming, and in fact, home, the kid doesn't leave the school. It was irresponsible of them to do it. That never should have happened with neither parent even knowing it was happening.

Idk how it works in the US (I'm Canadian), but when I was a kid in the 70s, they did used to just send the kid (me) home. I never made it - half a block from the school, I passed out on someone's front lawn and someone driving by saw me and took me home. I was around 8 or 9 at the time, I think. I don't remember why, but my mum didn't come to get me, and it was probably a week when my dad was out of town. In the UK, they're supposed to call you. When my son was his little sister's age, I used to get called all the time. She hasn't had to come home from school due to sickness yet, so idk what her school does in that case.

I have but one question Why do these writers think alimony is some punitive measure imposed by the courts ? Alimony is no such thing ! Alimony is Spousal Support , pure and simple. Alimony was designed to help a spouse who during the marriage , was dependent on the spouse who was earning the money. Usually to qualify for Alimony , the dependent spouse had to have been married for at least 7 years . Alimony was NEVER designed as a punitive measure . It is Spousal Support!

If left at 105 long enough, he could literally die from it. Mark didn't care that his son was literally 2 degrees from absolutely certain death!? God, what an absolutely disgusting human being. He's too busy pounding his bosses wife into their mattress to care about his LITERALLY DYING SON!? Such a reprehensible person. He deserves to suffer for what he was doing. He lives next door to me. Yeah I might be a bit of a Helicopter parent, but oh well, his father is just like I am, if our babies are in trouble it better be b/c they hurt themselves b/c if someone else did it...well our saying tends to be "I'm not afraid to catch a case"

Not through the story yet. The only reason I can see for bolting the door is because he's cheating.

This guy was already confirmed to be a scumbag before the cheating was found out. He's a misogynist, a neglectful father (sure, he may not have wanted the kid, but there are better ways of handling that), apathetic af, unable to understand the responsibilities of his terrible actions nor saw anything wrong with them. The cheating was just the rotten cherry on top of that awful sundae. Hope he enjoyed it, because now, he has to eat it. Every. Last. Bite. Including the rotten cherry.

The callous comments this "dad" is making about his own son is grounds for divorce and a refusal of any custody rights...but oh yes, definitely slam him for child support. I'd definitely install cameras in the house while he isn't there, and get the real facts on what he's doing all day while at home with the doors super-extra locked.

If the guy had the slide lock on the exterior door, he wouldn't have also locked the bedroom door so why didn't they just open the door and go in?

And yet he never answered her question about whether he even cared about his child. There’s her answer. Again when someone shows you who they are believe them. And also don’t procreate with them either!

Do the women in these stories not see what cheating assholes these guys are before they married them??? I've been married for 20 years and my husband would never talk to me or treat me like this cause he knew that I would not put up with it.

All of these stories the woman moves back with her parents. What if she has none? Or their dead? Or remarried. Everyone can't go back to their parents.

I'm fascinated by the other woman - she hears how he speaks to his wife and she believes him when he says he loves her???? Or does he tell her honestly that he's simply having sex with her and love is not involved?

Mark sounds like a guy that has been caught previously prior to his current wife. His comments sound like he's cheated on other women before and got caught.
