It sucks. SPB did not sing those like sad songs. They all seem like normal songs. And that is the reason Ilaiyaraaja replaced him here in Tamil. ANd you are not a music genius than him. He is a Tamizh and did justice to his mother tongue.

My humble request to the uploader - Please at least give us full stereo sound. I find that Ithayathai thirudathey songs are in mono but the telugu Geethanjali songs are in stereo. We want Tamil version also in stereo. We should even strive to upgrade the quality of these recordings to DTS master HD. This high-quality music deserves higher quality restorations.

I searched most of the sources for the 20 years which only mono quality is available, even tried the most brand like Echo audio tamil verision is not available in stereo.

You are right bro. Listen to the old songs of Malayalam movies, they sound incredibly good. Tamil industry spend their money for big heroes only. What IR is going to achieve by churning out new albums at 80. He has to pay attention to restoring/re-mastering his old compositions. Sound quality of this great album is too bad

Don't comment negatively. Ilayaraja composed more super hit songs without SPB, that's on the situation. Maestro has given growth to so many singers. After the entry of Maestro in film field so many singers identify themselves in different voices. After the cold war SPB also Maestro Ilayaraja recorded and made so many hits. Don't compare singers with composers. Their work is different. Between friends so many things with be there, we are all fans that's all. Nothing to comment

Nee Namba Alu, boss Singers just Mimic the notes, SPB has sang 40k songs, why don’t you listen them all in loop, you commit suicide post, MSV, IR and ARR songs, singer or lyricist only compliment a tune, a song is hit only because of its tune, you will be pulled into the song by the tune, if the lyrics and voice are soothing its like toppings to the pizza. No offence to singers and lyricists, but yes they can be replaced but not a good tune

Though I don't understand Telugu, I loved the Telugu version songs BETTER because of superior sound quality and SPB's modulation & dynamics is also BETTER than Mano's (Does not mean Mano did not sing well; I love the Tamil songs too, just that SPB has done it better). Anyway, did you people even realize there is a WHOLE LOT MORE songs & BGMs of Ilayaraja that is YET to be uploaded AFTER RE-mastering them in superior quality????????

Sirapu, Miga sirapu. Indha panadainga, always fiting. A song gets its colour by the tune and orchestration, not by the singer and language. A gud tune wil sound the same if sung in any Indian language. I say o Priya Priya will sound the same amazing way sung in Bengali as wel..

Movie was initially made in Telugu and dubbed into Tamil. Original track is stereo and the instrumental part for the remake was mono at that time. Later they started to record instrumental track and used it in multiple languages. (As per my understanding)
