"And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and shall subdue three kings." Daniel 7:26 KJV. "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of Blaspheme." Sunday worship is an abomination to God (Ezekiel 8:15-16) Therefore Constantine was a pagan, because he did not keep the commandments which is a result of being saved, it is not legalism as many falsely believe. Actually what he did was marry Christianity and paganism and compromise crept into the church. Hmm…take opportunity to be faithful. My error, knew nothing about God or the bible as one new to religion, but was forced to go to 3 mandatory classes on the Sabbath at work. Went but kept my mind on Jesus the best I could. Now know the Sabbath is the 4th law, but not sure how to keep it except the extreme legalistic approach. Anyone in their right mind wants to escape the horrors that madmen will inflict upon other humans who hold to different beliefs. But there is no scriptural guarantee that we will escape the persecution and torture of sick people. I don't necessarily agree with every thing said here; for instance, the timelines of the Pastor's interpretation of the 70 Weeks of Daniel; the seven major churches in Asia Minor; the tribulation period as opposed to the persecution of the Christian Martyrs, and the fact that these interpretations just don't dovetail with the timelines of the Seven Seals, spoken of in the Book of Revelations. But if you look at the real meaning of that word in the Strong’s concordance, in the Greek, (the original language that the scriptures were translated from), it has always said and meant Sabbaton. Which is the Sabbath. They gathered on the Sabbath, “not” Sunday. So what it really should say is, On the first (one) of the Sabbaths, counting to Pentecost, we gathered together to break bread... In Revelation chapter 2 this is a totally different scenario because these Christians were not rebellious in Smyrna but were faithful and they were saved by grace through faith the scriptures says for them to hold on until death and it doesn't take 10 years to die to receive their crown of life the Bible says that they were all given white robes those that were beheaded for their faith in Jesus. Also these countries and nations that are presently persecuting Christians God will do unto those nations as he destroyed Nineveh in 612bc remember Satan is loosed for a season ( Rev.20:3 ) and prayerfully these persecuted Christians are true born again believer. There is absolutely no historical record of a census at the time stated in the Bible, which is great because it promotes ‘faith’ that it did actually happen, regardless. Check it out online. But hang on, there is a big issue regarding persecution. The commandment states: “ Honor your parents and your days will be long in the land given to you by God.” This is reiterated in the N.T. as ‘this is the commandment with a promise.’ Now we know that the 10 Commandments were given for people to live correctly on earth, not in Heaven. So, how come all these early Christian were killed for their faith - many quite young? You can’t grab this one Commandment promise for long life and say: “Oh it means those who honor their parents will live long in Heaven.” Something is very wrong here.
