The March of Death

Just hours after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Japan invaded the Philippines. In the midst of the death and destruction, tens of thousands of American and Filipino soldiers were forced to march on what became known as the Bataan Death March. Why does God allow such horrors? My father’s uncle survived the Batan death march and made it back home to the U.S. He was a hero. He carried his friend, who couldn’t walk any further, many many miles. I don’t know if his friend survived. I just remember hearing my parents speak of him as a noble hero. I remember him. He obviously had PTSD. He was a quiet and gentle man. I don’t remember hearing him speak. The cruelty and suffering in this world have no reason to be. I look forward to the day when sin and sinners will be no more. God ia suffering along with humanity. Praise You and Thank You God for giving Yourself to save this wretched human race!!

I just love this show; the writing, production and subject clarity are superb. God bless! This week tested my faith. I was ill with a respiratory infection after a trying and short vacation . So after arriving home ill, a package had come but was stolen from my porch. I missed a couple of obligations and my home was a mess (after packing for a trip it's always a mess). So when I got back on my feet I lamented that "I" would have too settle and clean up my mess. But God, those 2 beautiful words showed me who was really in charge. Everyone involved with my trouble were accommodating and mess cleared and forgiven. 'Be anxious for nothing; but in everything with prayer and supplication, "with thanksgiving" let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus..." Phil. 4:6-7 Amen.

Many nations wanted to colonized Philippine because of gold and one of them is the Spain . They colonized us for over 300 years. They said because of spices but it’s really because of gold and because Philippine’s is the land of Ophir where queen Sheba live who give king solomon gold. They learn it from the bible. In Philippines we have called Cebu as the “Queen city of the South “ with they said that where Queen Sheba live. Cebu or Sheba where Spaniard Magellan first landed and fought with our one of national hero called Lapu-lapu. And also one of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal who can speak 22 languages said that Philippines as the land of Eden. One of his book: My Last Farwell” (“Mi Ultimo Adios”) “Farewell, my adored Land, region of the sun caressed, Pearl of the Orient Sea, our Eden lost, With gladness I give you my Life, sad and repressed; And were it more brilliant, more fresh and at its best, I would still give it to you for your welfare at most.” - Dr. Jose Rizal, December 30, 1896 (Eve of his execution). On the eve of his execution, he wrote this poem in which he referred to the Philippines as the “region of the sun” which is important in identifying the land of Chryse/Ophir, “Pearl of the Orient Sea” which is crucial in revealing the land of Ancient Havilah next to the Garden of Eden and “our Eden lost” as if he knew this was in fact the long lost location of the Garden of Eden perhaps. When you look at the map of the Philippines it is look like a baby inside the mothers womb .
