A lot of Jamaicans are hiding a lot when it comes to that with family but are afraid or ashamed to come forward. I have a friend whose grandfather did the same thing to her. He died and left a bank account for her, and she refused to take it. She is 42 years old and is still traumatized. This happened when she was 12 years old. I think a lot of people who talk crap about Ifrika have a family member or friend who went through the same thing, and they don't know because the one who the act was done to knows what their response would be.
