Slightly odd way of signing off the pre-programme announcement... Tyne Tees often used the phrase "on this channel" immediately before their own ident, either to introduce the news or one of their own programmes, so in that context he's almost implying that "this channel" is LWT.

The vw changes advert according to the 100 greatest tv ads was made and shown in 1988, this proves that they haven't got all their facts straight!!
