A MacOS docker is helpful for system/security admins to test deployments and system settings/hardening. Doing it on actual hardware is old school and not as easy just to snapshot and reset. The real answer is to get a beefy Mac and run something like Parallels and run it on top of OSX as a type 2 hypervisor. Also...you'll most likely need one of the last Intel based ones to be able to virtualize anything old or other than MacOS. Apple makes it difficult and expensive basically.

Reason to run macos virtually. apple configurator is required to add previously purchased apple device to abm for mdm to be "supervised". Configurator is only available on macos.

The Verkada story sounds like it should be two separate stories. I wonder if they were combined on purpose with the headline of violating the CAN-SPAM Act so people do not notice the camera vulnerabilities.

The sad part about this argument is this is actual logic... You guys, by virtue of discussing this issue, are absolutely guilty by association.
