Hey Rahabar, we have ITF+ practice tests available on our site for members. Individual memberships are $49/month that includes practice tests and virtual labs. You can use the code KZbin30 for 30% off. There may be other practice tests available on the internet, but they aren't guaranteed to cover the material like the exam.

so can you just "turn on" a proxy server and it scrubs everything before it gets to your computer? In Ronnie's demonstration it looked like you had to set it for certain IP addresses and websites. Thanks!

The proxy server doesn't scrub as much as redirects your browser to a place. You will have set an IP address and a port number of your proxy server. Normally, where we see this is for locations like school settings, we do not want to set a default gateway for everyone to just get out to the internet. We want to direct them to a proxy server. This way we can control what content we want students to be able to get access to or not. Satellite Internet customers are often directed to a proxy server so they can serve up pre-cached content quickly to give the user a better lower latency experience. These are accomplished either by a policy that is pushed out or manually set.

Trying checking out Help Desk jobs, that's usually people's first step into a career in IT. ITF+ is a great starter certification, but the job requirements may vary according to companies. Some may require further certifications like A+, Network+, or Security+.
