BAUER'S SYNTHETIC ICE GEAR REVIEW

Those appear to be Bauer's dryland tiles, as opposed to their synthetic ice tiles based on how the edge connections look. Did you by chance get any of the synthetic ice to see how those feel comparatively? Thanks for all you do!

My dad used to work for a bath tub company and he used to take home the big sheets of plastic that they didn’t use and with some WD-40 they worked awesome. Great for shooting and stick handling

My dad grabbed a couple pieces of plexi, with chipped corners, from the rink. My brother and I, stick handled on and shot off them for the better part of a decade. Garage door didn’t stand a chance!😂

Stick handling and shot. Things that require a lot of repetition to get good at. You obviously won't be getting a full practice on it.

Buy a $5 pack of adhesive vertical blind Vane Savers from Home Depot. Cut out some pieces and stick them to the top and bottom of an ice puck. The puck will slide nicely on any hard smooth surface. I used a 4x8 sheet of melamine for my kid. He loves practicing on it.
