I'm a ways away from having radio's, but I'm going to carry them in your pouches when I do. I've done a lot of looking around, and no one makes good baofang pouches. The company's that did rather got ripped off or dissipated. I was going to opt for a 10 speed rifle pouch til you guys made this bad ass little sucker!

I love the pouch and all the thought put into it but I think you should make a streamlined version without the pocket on front and replace the buckle with a magnet strap to lower the profile

That is a valid question and yes it does, but keep in mind that pouch is gonna last much much longer than a UV5R will

Yes, but the uv5r is the cheapest chinesium ever, but the piuch is smart and well made

Have you changed the main retention from the clip to velcro? I just ordered mine and on your website are different pictures. One is with a clip retention (which I prefer because of better one-handed use) and the other one ist with velcro. Please tell me the one I ordered comes with the clip 😅

This is by far one of the best designed radio pouches I have seen. Fantastic job! I have more radio pouches than holsters. I mount my radios in many different ways and this pouch covers all but one of them. That is an incredible amount of options! The one option I would like to see is a d-ring on each side so I could mount it to my radio strap. For me, that is easy to add though. I love the retention strap too. I've dropped my radios way too many times and use a strap that was designed for firearms since the "ID card" style ones were always hard to mount. I would also love to see a Mini version of this for radios that do not have the extended battery. My Yaesu radios do not have the bigger battery option, so would not work with this one. And I don't use the bigger batteries on my Baofengs all of the time. Again, fantastic pouch! I will definitely be ordering one or more. Do you have any plans to make a Mini version?

Also, I'm now on the fence about the big buckle at the top to close it. Did you try velcro instead? I think that would be easier to close when you are not looking.

Great Demo video! There is no replacement for good design. I wonder if the designers were inspired by the annoying yet insignificant amount of time one's life goes on hold while we are trying to end a smart phone call-I relate to that - it feels like I'm closing a popup advertisement every time I want to end a phone call and carry on with my life. I found this video because I'm a SAR volunteer who is seeking a radio carry solution for my pack wearing high desert activities. I've been borrowing a radio chest harness, and I'm looking to purchase a smoother, pack friendly alternative for an operational catch-all (GPS/Radio/pencil & notepad/pen light/hand sanitizer/nitrile gloves/etc. to invest in. Maybe I'll start modifying a $10 home depot belt organizer.

I love your gear but, after getting a Baofeng and upgrading to a smaller Yaesu i'm never looking back. maybe a universal pouch would be better.

Agree, universal fit like the Maxpedition, which is bomb proof. Nice design though, I prefer to run my waterproof HT's on my carrier.

Exactly baofang is good but yaesu is just somehow a better piece of equipment. Maybe I am just partial to Japanese tech but it is a nicer radio and wish more gear was attuned to yaesu.

Great design, but it's still one feature short of perfection. An integrated spare battery pocket would be awesome for those inopportune moments when your radio is out of juice.

After three months of testing, I can sadly tell you this is NOT meant for law enforcement. Especially the newer version with the velcro retention thingy is not what you need for LE

i bought this, way overpriced for the quality. velcro is weak, it's difficult to slide the radio in and out of the pouch, molle mounting is very unstable.
