Fuel pressure or immobilizer issue by the sounds of it - I'd firstly check the fuel pump relay - or even to see if it even has one - it might have been pinched at copart in the yard to try and start another car.

Re starting : check the exhaust for splits , completeness and lambda sensors.

Interesting to see one of the 500s cousins on the channel. Good luck getting it running, coil pack or ECU issue perhaps or would that have come up in the scan? You mentioned it was running at copart, presumably taking their word for that 😂

Main Earth cable underneath the battery perished or fuel starvation, fuel line blocked or filter needs a replacement. Good luck mate 👍🏼

Earth strap changed...and I think fuel isn't getting to the engine still.

Under the bonnet in the black fuse box by the battery check all the fuses, I had the fuel cut off one blow once and it cranked like that for ages until I located the fuse ( just a regular blade fuse ) once changed it burst into life good luck 🤞

@@carsalvage101 no problem I hope it is of some use. it is worth a look for nothing I'm sure it's in the top of the fuse box in the middle row from memory. Good little cars I personally have a 1.2 pop and it's simple and it goes and goes and I've never had any issues apart from that one fuse

Go on ebay and find Marlow paint supplies. They do a 400ml can mixed to any colour. They are doing 20% off. I use them.

its possible the tank is damaged or the pipes due to the forklift,replug in your multiscan and see if you can work the pump,regarding wipers it was just a can bus thing,not a good idea starting fiats with totally flat batteries the body computers on these can easily go faulty if you do

Multiecuscan seems to suggest the pump is active and tried the wiper thing aswell. The pump definitely makes a noise when turning on the ignition. Thanks for the heads up on the body computer. I'll remember that.

@@carsalvage101 copart use a pipe to scavenge fuel,its quite possible this pipe has damaged the float and giving a false reading,put 2 gallons in the tank and see if it starts,unless the pump is accesible under the rear seat and you can pull it out and assess,ive had a few c1with broken floats due to forklift jumping up and down with car on it,these too prime but if theres low fuel in then they wont fire,i had one showing full tank and it ran out on customer i sold it to on a smart motorway,not ideal HTH

I bought one off copart and when they pickd it up with fork truck and squash petrol pipe underneath spray carb cleaner in see if it starts

a stupid question ,Have you got fuel . i could not see the fuel gauge on the vid . give it wiff of brake cleaner and if it starts for a second, its fuel related

It's not stupid to ask :) The fuel gauge is 3/4 full. This weekend, I'm looking into the fuel system. Fingers crossed.

Car doomed to fail at launch as over £1500 more than equivalent Panda 169. Weren't well made inside. Got dash rattle on all ones I had from 2k miles. In other parts of Europe Panda Pop was £4800 instead of UK price of £9300.
