He does make some very good points about security and police stations. What DJ did indeed place them at a higher risk than before, even if it is 100% legal. Just because it is legal doesn't mean it is right, and there's also the age old debate of what matters more, freedom or security.

company directors have special rights under GDPR 2018 Act and DPA 2018 around controlling the use of their image, due to their name being public information associated with a company, however in this case he identified himself of his own free will..

Although the video finished on a reasonably positive note it would help the owner if he read up on drone photography and videography. Google doesn’t use secret satellites to obtain 360* images of a property. Google uses a combination of images starting with commercial satellites, then zooming in to integrate images taken from a light aircraft. For further details they will use the larger commercial drones with ultra high resolution cameras that are more stable than the planet, and even smaller drones if the company is in news or is a newsworthy item. [If you’re old enough, you might remember the original “Star Trek - The Original” which tried to show an almost infinite zoom, going from outer space to Captain Kirk free climbing “El Capitan” in Yellowstone National Park. A bit of a tangent but shows the origins of the current imagery]. If Johnathan could grasp the concept that there are very few areas of the country which have special restricted flight access, but those that are restricted will be clearly covered by the CAA, and ultralight drones have almost complete freedom of access except when they enter an area where the public have expectations of privacy - so no hovering outside someone’s bedroom or bathroom or the rozzers will quite rightly make you feel like you were run over by a tank (a great example of actions having consequences).

To be fair, Mr Jewer was spot on with regards increasing risk to National Security. Many of our industrial setups around the UK may play a part in the manufaturing of items that support infrastructure around the UK that may link to the preservation of National Security. For example, if Mr Jewer was manufacturing doors that are used to secure high security sites and locations, your video may give away just enough information for someone to counter this security option. Youre essentially providing open source information to individuals that may have bad motives or terrorist related intentions. I completley agree with your overall aim to prove public right and operating within the bounds of the law sensibly, however i think you should add a layre of common sence whe choosing what information to place on the Web. After all, its your countrys national security you may be putting at risk.
