Composite Yachts CY 55 goes 55 knots and is said to be one of the fastest yachts in her class. Today we walk the CY55 with Rob and when he opened up her engine room we quickly got a crowd. My name is Alfred Montaner host of the Chit Show in Miami.

I've seen the boat doing its launch photo shoot this spring on the Choptank River in Maryland. It is a stunning boat to see on the move. Built by the hard-working folks on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Glad to see some Talbot County love on your Channel. The owner and the entire yard where they work are very humble people. Their new shops are amazing and the fit and finish of these boats are top notch. I can’t wait to see what they cook up this winter!

You should visit New Zealand where the high speed Hamilton jet drives were invented in order to navigate the South Island's rivers often very shallow and often very fast flowing depending on the time of year and the melt of glacial snows and ice. There are thrill boats for the tourists but there are also big boats like the huge alloy commercial lobster boats bigger than the one in this show that daily fish remote areas and must return to shore by blasting through shallow water at full speed, swinging and sliding to avoid rocks, sandbars and other obstructions to finally slam up a boat trailer towed by a big tractor or bulldozer. It is a very impressive ride! A little scary but very memorable. Skill, speed and power!

Aussie here, good plug bruz and i agree, there are some great boat builders in Nz. Very innovative cutting edge stuff, the jet boats are bloody awesome paricuarly the 10 footers. They are right up there with us aussie builders 😁😆. Lol. Sick car divers as well, svg is the new brocky i reckon.

Marine diesels are so Superior in every conceivable way compared to a bunch of outboards that are just hung on a transom almost as an afterthought.
