I must say, all those cuts to camera angles such as the one when your little delivery takes off with the parts it needs to unlock any items. It's really good! Very original and well placed. Also the blueprint thing I have barely started to properly utilizes for those transportation of goods as well. I think you have officially pasted me on my recent playthrough though lol, guess I better get back in there and keep up! Great video yet again, you two are a great team for this content!

Well thanks a ton! We've both shared a love of gaming and have been making videos together for years now, so these videos have been a blast to do together. Thanks again for watching!

I think you could do your factories a lot of good by rationalizing both the production and transportation of goods. Basically, at the output of a production unit and possibly at the output of any intermediate step put a smart splitter set to overflow onto a trash line. Said trash line can be lead past a smart splitter array (again, set to overflow) for storage and low rate production but should ultimately end in a sink. Your overland beltwork could and maybe should be redone. Use the blueprint editor to create a blueprint for an overland transport mast. This is a foundation (2 or 4 meter half) with one or more painted or steel beams on it with several belt, power, hypertube and possibly pipeline supports attached to each. This would allow you to fairly simply create a uniform transport main line between your factories. Creating a separate blueprint for a pipeline mast might be a good idea due to pipelines occasionally needing pumps. For production and construction efficiency you should look at creating blueprints for assemblers and constructors with attached beltwork and power poles. I find that a 4x3 foundation blueprint can comfortably hold 4 constructors, 2 assemblers or a manufacturer with attached beltwork, especially if you use a logistics subfloor (all belts and pipes go under the floor). Blueprints for refineries can be a bit more challenging but a well thought out blueprint for the refinery pipework is easily doable. Nudging blueprints into place is a life saver. Have fun and stay efficient.

Wow, thanks for all the great ideas. I've barely started to discover the utility of blueprints and incorporate them into my factory. While I have a blueprint for a triple stack conveyor line, I do like your idea of upgrading it with the features you mentioned. Thanks!

@@Gaming_with_Doc Thanks for the reply. The blueprint editor is actually a lot more flexible than many might think. The blueprints I use most often are a 2m panel oriented to stick on the ceiling and set to glow (as a light) and 3 storage boxes arranged on top of one another and surrounded by a belt stacker (it looks like a storage rack). The latter I use if I need to dump my inventory. Deconstructing the blueprint returns my entire inventory to me in one go. About the overland pole. If you build it so that a power line is on the outside or bottom and high enough off the ground, you can use it with the zipline tool.

Interesting. I unlocked the zipline just recently and haven't given it a go yet. I'll try it out.

Hi, I just started watching ur videos and I must say I liked them, and by the way u can take out the overflow items with a smart splitter and attach to a awesome sink

Well thanks! I haven't played with the smart splitter yet... Sounds like a good idea to help with overflow. Thanks for the tip!
